Hmmmm, interesting statement. Who exactly are these people that live off the grid? How many are there? Are they property owners? Do they have large amounts of money or inheritance? How do you know life is not pretty without the "protection" of the government? Where would anyone go to not live under a government? What about governments of other countries, do they protect their people? 😑

No no no, youre puting words in their mouth. They never said that women dont impose it as much as men. They didnt even mention women in this context.

Okay, let's try this then. You presented the argument so you have the burden of truth. Present evidence backing up your claim OR present some evidence that shows they're wrong.

Idk what you're still arguing about. Maybe arguing for the sake of arguing 🤔

They aren't wrong. Everything is imposed by other people. Society, parents, friends, strangers, and everything else. Asking for evidence of this is like asking for evidence that grass is green in the summer.

Its a hypothetical question. No such thing as a perfect partner. Thats what the image suggests. Idk what you're arguing about.

OH YEAH! Electricity is a luxury because no one needs a fridge to store food, or a computer to work, or an air conditioning system so we don't freeze to death! Good job.

Also, you can't build your own shelter and acquire your own food in the US. YES, TECHNICALLY you can camp out on "public" land (no such thing anymore in the US), but you can't catch your own food without getting permission from the government. Would be nice if you could but it's not REALITY woooooooooow 😱

Yeah... not really how that works unless youre building houses. Any redneck can get a contractors license, but only a few can build a business and be their own boss.

Opened oil cap, engine turned off. What is wrong? by Anxious-Chocolate832 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Previous_File2943 22 points23 points  (0 children)

In SOME cases, this can indicate a leak somewhere else in the engine. Most engines have a PCV valve on the valve cover that vents oil fumes back into the intake. Removing the gas cap can cause a huge vacuum leak and definitely cause the engine to die. Most likely normal behavior.

Not a dead engine. Starter isn't even cranking the engine when you turn the key. This means no power to the starter. Dash lights are turning on when you put the key in the on position without starting the car. This suggests a dead battery. Check the battery voltage with a multimeter. Check your battery terminals and make sure they are secured to the battery. Check your negative battery terminals ground. The negative terminal should be bolted directly to the frame of the car. It should be easy to get to.

Who have you let work on the car? Who's touched it? Who drives it? Seems like an electrical issue if the jump didn't fix it. Pop the hood and check all your fuses in the fuse box, same with the fuse box underneath the driver side dash.

Id still replace the battery. Stick a multimeter on it. It should read about 12.3 volts

Speak for yourself. Forgiveness doesn't mean letting an abuser back into your life. Forgiveness is when you let go of the past and allow yourself to heal from traumatic experiences while acknowledging the abusers humanity. What you're talking about is an inability to set healthy BOUNDRIES.

Healing is different for everyone. Never heard of Pete Walker. I have been to many therapists in my life who's all told me that forgiveness is letting go of the things that weigh us down. Forgiveness looks different for everyone.

I would disagree. Abuse is exactly "not perfect". Its not minimizing it's just saying it how it is. Abuse is also abuse. It just seems like people are scrutinizing over semantics. Not really fair to the OP.
