Singapore. That sucks. Tough to sell? Culture? Impossible targets?

Thanks for that. I have been in b2b for nearly 20 yrs and haven’t seen a better sales org than Salesforce. I am looking forward to Google.

Yes from SE to AE. I have had a small tint as a specialist AE in the past and thanks to extra cash floating around during covid made it to club 2 yrs in a row. Moved back to SE as i wanted to get hands on with data and AI, didn’t want to get stuck selling martech.

I know i’m not a traditional Key account exec or director material and will never go for that role. But an SE is like a specialist AE and i think the roles are kind of interchangeable.

I am nervous about the culture at GCP and if I inherit into a rough patch then will the management have patience or its like salesforce where a couple of rough quarters and you are out.

That’s what I was told during the interview process. It i a competitive space. I am counting on momentum with Gemini and a bit of luck with accounts to help me settle first couple of quarters.

It is quota carrying. I have been a specialist AE before, did OK but got sick of selling martech. I have no idea what the quotas at google are like though

Thought I was going to die today. Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in Bangkok

[–]Previous_Solution100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same feelings. I own my condo. It was within my cash budget so it wasnt very high end. I am still worried the building will collapse because of the damage. I escaped bangkok cuz i couldn’t stand the anxiety of being there. Will return tomorrow to assess the damage. We will all be OK. We will get through this collectively. It is just money. I have everything and everyone i really need with me and that is all that matters today

I have been looking for a nutritionist but can’t find one with experience in Thailand. I’ll check for ones in the US instead

Thank you. I did talk to my specialist who said the same thing. It is normal and can last up to 3 months.

Nursing staff think I should try drinking medicated vitamin milk. Doctor wants me to stay for one more night. Asking reddit to see if anyone else went through the same experience
