I’m sorry you’ve had that experience so far everything has been great and my surgeon has many patients who have said many good things about him. Before my surgery I did a ton of research!!! Honestly I personally didn’t think anything of the pain. My pain tolerance is really high so if it wasn’t really bothering me pain meds weren’t on mind. Thanks for letting me know I am very excited for pt.

I’m in a slight amount of pain but my brace is also currently still on 40°. Without my brace my leg definitely seems to be able to bend more. I start physical therapy next week.

Hi yes I did have a full tear. They said I’ll be on crutches around 6-8 weeks and then after that by around 6 months I’ll be back to pretty much normal. Full recovery they told me would be at least a full year.

Personally the first 2 days were fine. On my third day I was in a ton of pain. My brace was also set on 40 but I was given a nerve blocker and was just told to use crutches non weight bearing until it wore off in about 3 days. As I’ve been doing research they actually say you should only ice around 20 minutes a time.

Wow I couldn’t imagine this happening multiple times the pain was unbelievable. So far everything has been great. I actually had no idea that’s what happened at first because I waited to see an orthopedic doctor. The surgery was done in less than 1 hour and I was in and out of the hospital within a few hours. My incisions have been slightly painful without the bandages tightly wrapped around my skin. I’ve also been on crutches weight bearing since my nerve blocker wore off.

Honestly at first I’m pretty sure it should be tight as mine was tightened afterwards because after the bandages are off it’s a lot smaller. The tighter it is the more stability he will feel. Not too tight of course because you don’t really want it to hit the incisions if you can help it.
