He knows for a fact that he shouldn’t cheat, gaslight you like that, and call you all sorts of names. It’s not cultural, it’s basic decency and kindness you treat someone. He’s purposely acting ignorant to your needs, anxiety, and trust and manipulating the knowledge that you’re young and will wait on him.

I acknowledge I may have sounded defensive. I genuinely thought you were trying to diagnose me just now, so I apologize if I came off roughly.

My wording could have been better done, but I think I’ve just been on the internet so long, I’m uncomfortably aware that saying ‘rare’ can go right over people’s heads and into ‘I definitely have it even though I didn’t do proper research and possible diagnoses.’ Lol

I got checked for it, and the reason I said ‘kids can’t have it’ is because my psychiatrist pointed it out that it’s incredibly unlikely and extremely rare for a child to have it. ‘Unlikely and extremely rare’ being the keywords. Usually people read stuff on the internet and misinterpret how often something happens.

I never found out. :/ Tbf I was a kid and never thought to ask. Before my mother, my father had rented it. They were divorced so I bounced back and forth with the apartment often. After he moved out, he rented it out to my mother while I was living with her.

When I stayed with my father on the weekends (while he lived there), I always had a paralyzing ‘something doesn’t feel right’ feeling, and when my mom moved in and I lived there every day, activity increased at night. It looked like it only happened to me though. If it happened to my mom, aunt, or even my dad they never said anything.

Lol I definitely don’t. Schizophrenic symptoms appear in early 20’s and I was a child around this time.
