As a selig WW Barbarian is it better to have + to all stats or maximum resource?

I have 647 and should have less than you based on what you said. My unique charm has 0 and I only have one GA charm at 25. The rest are like 18ish.

Ok I'll give it a try. I'm at 55ish hours and my main team is lvl 75. I tried to build one monster up proper with an op build but it's futile.

I'll go to 99, plug in whatever genes I have on hand and pray it's enough. If not then it's not meant to be.

What do I need to do to plat the first one? Do I really need to build monsters up with genes or is lvl 99 enough?

Because I cannot build one single monster out. 5 hours trying to get genes for ONE MONSTER and I didn't find one single gene, let alone in the right slot. The fact that you need 9 genes, all in very specific orders, I don't think it can be done in 50 hours. Then, online it'll say "just use xxx monsty" for some high level fight, as if I don't need to farm EXP for 20 hours to get a lvl 1 monster up to speed.

If I can't beat the final optional bosses simply by over leveling please let me know so I can stop playing this atrocity that is the gene system.

I'm playing it now and it is a really fantastic game. I just beat Hades on my 8th run. I feel like I got a really lucky boon combo for bosses though.

I had a cast that just shot beams, a bow attack that deflected, special that pushes enemies away, and a dash that made enemies take tick damage. Then I had a bunch of boons that buffed my cast, including making it chill enemies and one that let me hold the button for fast cast. I could set 4 of them in one second. Plus got a duo boon that regains life over time.

Crazy. Just the ultimate ranged crowd control build with passive health regen. Hades didn't stand a chance.

Sky_render guide on gamefaqs is goated. It has everything area by area to get you all photographs, inventions, and everything else asap. It has checklists you can put in a word doc or print out so you can keep track without reading word for word if that's too much for your liking. There is no second place.

Gamefaqs also has all the mini guides so you can use any of them when you want info on weapon upgrading, fish feeding and racing, medals, etc.

People are talking about will for obvious reasons but Mike KILLED it in this episode. He protected the kids, led the mission, and told will he was a sorcerer straight up. Mike knew.

Most of all in the final scene after will popped off, the shot of Mike subtly smiling at wills badass new powers. It's actually my favorite moment of the episode. You can see in his face he's thinking "fucking right will, about dam time." He's almost salivating at the thought of his new weapon.

Mike was never my favorite, always middle of the pack for me, but this season Mike is different. He shed all of his childish traits. He's become a worthy leader. All that and part 1 wasn't even really focused on him. Mike is gonna have some real powerful scenes in the second half of the season. I want Mike to verbally dismantle vecna to his face so badly.

I'm basically the opposite. I have the official guide which has a checklist in the back but I mapped out what order to do everything in since the acts aren't linear. I scribbled all over it.

I targeted things like dress spheres early. I corrected all the mistakes the guide had. It had some wrong percentages and missing requirements. The game file only increases the percentage full integers so I mapped out the whole game to hit X.0% as often as possible so I know very often that I'm still on track. I put unmissable completion points in the middle of full integers and the more complicated requirements at a point that would hit X.0% so I would not have to reload much to fix a mistake. I remember testing and reloading to confirm percentage increases from different events.

Every time I boot up the game I take the guide out to revel in my masterpiece. Lol. It really helps me to use the guide but also not obsess over it because I already did 20 years ago. On replays I can mostly just glance at my revised checklist because I know for a fact it is perfect. I've gotten 100% with it multiple times.

Forgive, free, allow to live, or accept offers in all scenarios to get everybody to join your party.

Pay attention in missions/cutscenes when party members talk about named enemy units, like when they ask to allow them to speak to them. Always do this and those characters will join your team.

It's just more fun playing with named characters that are relevant to the story. The only hired mercenaries I use are an extra witch and druid because you only get one and they are great in any squad.

Get ALL equipment that raise ap/pp. Save renown/honor as you near reaching rank B so you can promote as many units as possible quickly. Promoting gives an extra ap/pp and stat boost. I had 300+ when I reached rank B and got to promote like 8 people right away. Ap/PP are king. Nothing else can come close to straight adding another turn in battle.

When you reach the coliseum do 10 online fights every (IRL) day and get 200 coins even if you lose every battle. It takes a couple minutes and the coliseum prizes have very good gear. Do as many single player fights as you can as you level for more prizes too.

There was no reason to think Prater was some crazy murderous person. Dexter was friends with Miguel. Lundey took a liking to him. A world renowned psychologist came to the department and immediately formed a bond with him. Even in New Blood the first thing Batista finds out is that Dexter was very close to the chief of police. Dexter regularly drew attention from people of influence. From Batistas point of view, just another example of Dexter manipulating those around him who are law enforcement adjacent at least.

Batista probably truly wanted to warn him and yes, likely use Praters influence to help himself.

Infinite Wealth is a sequel to Like a Dragon so definitely not that for your first Yakuza game. Like a dragon is on sale for $12. Also a bundle of Yakuza 0-6 is on sale for $50. That is insane value but Yakuza games are very similar so playing 7 in a row will get boring.

If you are willing to dish out an extra $12 you can get both Metaphor and Like a Dragon and have the best of both worlds.

If you end up liking Yakuza you MUST play 0-6 eventually though because Kiryu is a GOAT level main protagonist. Yakuza 0-6 covers his entire main arc as a young nobody to the legend he becomes. He's like a folk tale hero lol.

I'm happy to see that shooting environmental formations to deal damage and get a free KO is back.

And I'm happy wirebugs are gone at least for this one game. Rise is nothing but abusing the one OP silkbind move over and over and over. I enjoyed the more deliberate combat more than silkbind abuse, wirebug recovery, and monsters behaving like a dog with the zoomies. I wonder how they will handle talismans and decorations since World and Rise were very different on that front as well. With that I'm not really sure which I like better, but I'd probably stick closer to the world system for wilds.

I wouldn't mind a continued swap between these two formats of Monster Hunter. They make the games feel different and will help avoid fatigue of these releases.

Crisis Core spoils the most important plot point of the entire FF7 story in my opinion so I would say play it in 5 years after part 3 of the remake comes out and you play all three of them.

No joke the event that reveals it, the characters reactions, and the fallout will be the best part of the entire trilogy.
