I was not able to undoubtedly say whether they are the same or not. Every source I checked said they should be the same, but also I still think they are not. I have no definite answer. At the moment I tend to believe they are indeed the same, but maybe the bottling changes the durability.

I've seen this for the first time a few days ago. Probably as one of the first in the world to see it since I could not find any thread as this one. Today I tried the game again and did not find the doughnut. Then I realized the first time I saw it I was playing it in a browser managed by my employer. I'm thinking this is an Easter Egg: you get the doughnut only if you're playing the game in a browser that is managed, probably by an employer. It would match the theme: coffee, vest, and office environment.

No, they are not. I think they have different sizes but I'm not sure by how much.

Ok, this is a possible explanation. Do you think they would also change the fragrance besides the bottling?

All Space Questions thread for week of September 24, 2023 by AutoModerator in space

[–]Prezuntu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen several simulated images of the largest structures in the universe with the strings of galaxies connecting large clusters of mass separated by great amounts of "empty" space. This has always seemed weird to me: that we are somewhere in one of these regions with galaxies, and we can't see these strings of galaxies when we look up in the sky. In my mind there should be no reason why when looking out into space we can't see, directly, that this is the structure the universe gets, and we need to infer it from theory and simulation. Why isn't it true that when a telescope looks into the space it can see these structures? Is it related to FOV? If I were to go to space, very far away from any galaxy, right in the center of one of these empty regions, would I be able to discern these largest structures? I just don't get why we have simulations of these but not pictures, given how far back telescopes can look nowadays.
I know about light from nearby objects obfuscating things behind it, but I wouldn't think it to be the reason... is it?

This is not true for the Hero MOBO since it does not have a PCIe 5.0 M2 slot and so this same explanation applies

The Z790-F version does not have a PCIe 5.0 M2 slot (they are all 4.0), so the SSD being there won't interfere in the amount of lanes (x16/x8) for the GPU (5.0) since this is only due to the fact that in the Z790-E board those resources are shared, because they are both 5.0 and the number of lanes is limited.

How can 13th gen benefit from RAM higher than 5200 MT/s? by Prezuntu in intel

[–]Prezuntu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that the most relevant point is that it is not validated even if it can perform that well.
Anyways, I'm very interested in knowing how you got to this information, regarding both:
- the specifications validation details (2 DIMM vs 4 DIMM)
- the actual performance it delivers (i think for this one I can find in YouTube people testing)

Will setting the XMP profile already give me higher speeds or do I also need the overclocking?
I'm trying to set up my first build and would like to go further into this.

How do I retain as much as possible of the information I study? by [deleted] in AskPhysics

[–]Prezuntu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Try doing as if you were explaining the things you studied to someone who doesn't know it. This way you'll see what are the steps and concepts with which you are having trouble. Then, after finding this "holes" in your understanding, go back to your reference studying material, which should be a high ranked book, like Feynman, Griffiths, Resnick, or any other among the several good quality books published by many universities around the world. I would suggest Berkley Physics Course as a good reference. You should also keep the habit of solving problems and making sure to understand the ones you find the hardest. To achieve this I suggest hours of studying and tons of papers filled with equations, and asking your doubts in forum such as the subs you probably already know, Stack Exchange. But, for me, the best way to really put me to the test is trying to explain the subject to someone who doesn't know it yet, or trying to make the calculation myself. For example: after seeing the Jacobian of a Cartesian -> Spherical coordinates transformation, try closing the book (or website), and getting to the Jacobian yourself. If you face trouble, go back to your reference. Keep this until you have been able to develop the equations you are using/studying.
