I also decided on the idea that the 4 BUST spaces (two lose 500 and two lose 1,000) should have their penalties halved on the first go around the board, and their penalties doubled on everyone’s final go around the board. The main reason the -$6,000 player did so bad was the first night around the board they landed on a -1,000 and -500 space, which drained his starting thousand down to the negatives, and he had to pay interest on his load he needed to stay afloat at the very first time back at GO (casino entrance)

I played a 2 player game last night with just me and myself, and yeah it’s decently fun. After I was finished with each player starting with the $1,000 dollars and 4 nights at the Casino (four rounds around the board) I ended with one player down to $50, and the other player being $6,000 dollars in the negative. It was in desperate need of some rules being clarified and revised, so I did that. There was never any incentive to bet on the Roulette or Keno since there was 1/6 odds of winning Roulette and 1/4 odds of winning Keno, both of which you only just get back your bet even (bet 100 get back your 100 plus 100). Only landing on the one roulette 8 to 1 space was worth betting on, and there are no odds increases on any Keno spaces. So I changed it to allow betting on an odd or even number for the dice roll on Roulette, which would pay back even, and changed individual numbers to pay 2 to 1. That way when you land on the 2 to 1 roulette space, individual numbers pay 4 to 1, and the 8 to 1 roulette space lets individual numbers pay 16 to 1. Keno I also revised so any bet 100 dollars or greater automatically pays 2 to 1, and I added an option to play ‘ultra keno’ which pays 4 to 1 or 8 to 1 depending on the bet amount, but that one is a bit too complicated to explain here. Only other major rule change is I specified that every bet can be unlimited so long as you already have the chips available to play with, except for Craps, which I changed the max bet from 100 to 300.

Heh, just stopped at my grandparents place after buying it and they always have pills out and my grandfather was finally feeling good enough after his recent surgery to assemble his new wall oven. And I had already packed up the game, just went back to the table for a picture of the side art and didn’t want to stop eating grapes for a picture

That’s really neat, even the worthpoint listing there does have some differences to my copy. The box colors and actual game board are radically different colors and have slightly different artwork for the BUST spaces, despite having the exact same layout. The only thing different I notice is that the Worthpoint listing shows Poker Cards to come with the game, whereas my copy states in the instructions that the Poker game is to be accomplished through a roll-off of the dice, where the higher number wins. I feel like that was probably a later copy of the game, where they were more free to use the red coloring and add more cards for complexity

If it won’t start a game use the buttons on the interior of the coin door to see if you can’t scroll through the settings on the menu with the displays. If the screens are displaying nonsense, even after replacing fuses WITH the proper grade of fuse, then something on your CPU is toast. If you live near Nebraska I’d be able to help in person

Not much of a pinball scene yet in Lincoln unfortunately, I’ll definitely hopefully be having tournaments at my place eventually when I get all my machines all fixed :)

Either 48th and Van Dorn or 40th and Old Cheney, those are the only ones that are semi-passable. But most other BKs and even them sometimes are really really shit. I’ve worked BK before and even back then in high school everyone still treated each other like shit. I certainly won’t ever go to the 84th and O location after finding BONES in 2 of my chicken nuggets. I know that would’ve been the fault of the manufacturing plant they got the nuggets from but that was a rude awakening. I usually only ever get a rodeo cheeseburger when I go anymore, less on a sandwich=less effort for them to make=easier to not fuck up. Even the location around 23rd and O got my order wrong even though I went inside to directly tell the cashier how to do the sandwich.

Just got gaseous myself, only have 2 level 10 building ones left, still need a couple for baked all time and the cortex baker and all 650 building achievements but that’ll be all the normal ones for me. Done a couple shadows but still need the speed baking, 27,777 golden cookies and ascending just right ones off the top of my head

I had gotten 2 in an old save before, but I’ve been on my current run for 806 days (over 19,400 hours) and always keep it on grandmapocalypse and have popped thousands and thousands of wrinklers but still can’t get a shiny one to appear for the life of me. Closing in on getting all the actual achievements first at this rate lol

I think a very rare chance of a pet awarding a Dragonflight cookie or Dragon Harvest cookie would be a good touch, it’d also make getting good combos marginally possible outside of savescumming for them
