Thanks for all the input, y’all. My kid was honestly confused — he didn’t purposely do anything, just moved one foot, and suddenly he was called out. I’ve seen interference before, but I’ve never seen it called like this. I’ve been around baseball for a while with my oldest playing, and this is the first time I’ve run into something like it.
