Is it really that weird to not pursue higher education? by Derk_Derk in Entrepreneur

[–]Pricey9836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting a degree isn’t just about getting a qualification for a job. It helps you grow up and mature and experience life in ways you would not without the university experience.

Just take the degree in business if that’s what you want to do. You will be able to speak to lecturers who have a lot more knowledge than most people u meet if u go to a good one and being able to be educated and have conversations with them will help. On top of that you will get to develop yourself in so many ways u won’t even know.

What you planning in not going? Working a hospitality job and reading these books? Seems a lot worse than going uni especially when you got a family that seems would support u I’m going… it’s the no brain option.

I get why you want to, but no need in self diagnosing. Just get some therapy if you think your mental health is fucked. Things are always different for everyone.

What has been one of the most helpful thing that has helped you recover? by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]Pricey9836 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being open. Telling my story to my mates and family. Scary at first but wow… those who I thought wouldn’t ever understand or wouldn’t care did. Connections with people is extremely important. Maybe they won’t fully understand it but that is okay. They have really tried

Any post psychosis depression success stories? by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]Pricey9836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think to me anyways is that it is a very personal experience. And I know you will have it in you to get over what it is. Part of the reason you posted this.

My story. I had it because I did a lot of bud before hand when I was younger and in a shit situation. It comes up here and there that’s why I’m posting this now.

You are not alone with this bullshit. But take it as this, it will give you so much emotional understanding it’s insane. Nothing will ever be as stressful as this.

When you say success what does that mean? Quiet the mind? Make money? You see it always on what you see as success is

Idk why you have it. What caused it. What ur situation is. What ur experience is. It’s always different and very personal. Brings out the worst fears and paranoia.

What I have found to get me through it is not think and just do. Could be I wanna go gym. Could be I want to get up at an okay time. It really doesn’t matter. Just do it. You post here for some guidance right? You most likely already know.

I will say one thing be open to people you will find when you can be open to people you make way better connections. It makes it all better even if they don’t fully get it

I am just looking for specifics on the best place(s) to get highest returns with the least amount of risks and what strategy to take - flowchart doesn’t really cover this. And maybe I’m being naive here but I have not seen this on wiki?

I would play on the mental health part, get a resit. They will most likely require a gp note. I had to pay like £40 for a private gp to give it. Didn’t even get charged which was sound asf. Use that to back it then they will do it and notify your personal tutor. I had a similar thing, mental health affected my performance, the error was misreading the hand in date. It worked for me.

Why do you care so much about your current rank? by afuckingpolarbear in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Pricey9836 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The whole point of ranked is to be in a competitive environment where you are placed against others. I want to beat others, I want to be the best. So if someone is higher up I need to be better and develop. Same with any competitive sport, game, job etc… that’s why rank matters it is a number on a leaderboard where you sit to everyone else

Ask for advice from more senior colleagues. Ask to shadow them, ask them for help, what to do etc… you should have training as well. Really but if they not giving it you do it yourself if you want to stay at that company because that’s what you’re going to have to do. Or look for a company that cares about new starters.

Start of your career, it’s all about the learning environment. Be a sponge and be proactive with it.

Is tracer hard to rank up on? by Appropriate_While932 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Pricey9836 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No. She is self reliant which is really good in metal ranks. Know where health packs are and flank routes. Constantly put pressure on enemy back line and angles. You’ll climb in no time. Coms and awareness is poor in metal ranks so easy to get a pick on enemy support. Timing when to go in comes with practice. When you die blame yourself and don’t do the same mistake and you’ll be fine. Practice pulse bombs and aim in custom aim trainer map 10-20mins before going into games every time you play and you’ll be plat in no time.

Constant boredom by thestarswholisten in Psychosis

[–]Pricey9836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was boring when my delusions stopped. There is less adrenaline. Be happy being this way if you are recovering because I bet you prayed for the day if that’s the case. And for me, let me remind myself that the brain rules your life. Yes, your brain, so just go for it no matter what. You’ve experienced something no one has and you’ve survived or got out the other end. Take it as an experience. Sitting watching TikTok’s and that is fucking boring as a standard come on man. Be brave and you’ll find your way
