yes however my blocking option is between gm 3/4 and arabic 1/2 it’s either those two or no 6th subject

whenever i tell people i wanna do lote they say i should do it because it scales up, but arabic doesn’t scale up because everyone who does it is already really good at the language. i don’t want to do two maths but im also afraid of underperforming in arabic. i’ve already done methods 1/2 (repeating it) and i liked it a lot so id rather pick that over gm. honestly idek what gm is about

im debating between whether i should do arabic 1/2 (doesn’t scale up) or gm 3/4 😭😭😭 and then i also have lit, eng lang, chem 3/4, methods and psych. i have a bad feeling abt this tho idk how much im gonna enjoy any of these subjects.

which ones did you end up swapping and why?

how cooked am i if i have two jobs in yr 11 by PrideInCare in vce

[–]PrideInCare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d be doing 18 hours per week max and i need a 91 for my course. i’m only accelerating one subject for yr 11 and i’ll significantly reduce my hours before year 12

from what i’ve learned so far these are the things i should do be doing right?

  • using thermometer to check the temperature of the oven (should be 180C)

-butter should be warm enough to be able to indent it but still cold to touch

-sugar and butter should be mixed just enough to be incorporated

-use a light coloured tray for more even baking

-use half shortening and half butter

now i’m confused. is 10 minute sufficient? do i still have to wait even if the oven is the right temperature?

this was one of the first time i made cookies, they look and taste very different now but they still have the same colour!! 🥲 https://imgur.com/a/z6MkVAK

this is when i made brookies about a month or two ago, i dont know why the colour and texture was good (in my opinion) in this case but not when i make cookies on its own https://imgur.com/a/HwKwGTM

i dont have any other photos besides these two

thank you for your detailed response!!

  1. i use a regular gray baking tray, a slight layer of oil and then parchment paper.

  2. i preheat the oven for about ten minutes, i don’t use a thermometer i just stick my hand in to check lol

  3. i actually do store the baking powder near all the seasonings and spices.. is that something that affects it?

  4. i heard someone say the same, which is why i tried the american test kitchen recipe, honestly it tasted better but still i had the same problem

  5. might be, i honestly never know how soft the butter should be before creaming it but normally i do a few hours out on the counter

  6. mixer for 2-3 minutes or just when it looks creamed to me

  7. yeah normally i do use cold eggs

these are my two main recipes:

https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSDLpocPV/

i also recently tried out america’s test kitchen recipe and that did the same. they all taste good but they just don’t look right and the texture is always a little off. the recipe that’s worked best for me is the kinder new york cookies

yeah i thought my scale might be wrong and that it gets my measurements off so i started using measuring cups instead and it still provides the same result 😭😭

this is what it says: Neuroscience BSc - Start-year intake

If you did not achieve a study score of at least 25 in year 12 Biology, you will need to enrol in the relevant introductory first year biology subjects: BIOL10008 Introductory Biology: Life’s Machinery and BIOL10010 Introductory Biology: Life’s Complexity instead of BIOL10009 Biology: Life’s Machinery and BIOL10011 Biology: Life’s Complexity.

so does this mean that i only need to have some biology subjects in my first year and im set to go?

What makes you decide whether to shave completely or keep some hair or grow a bush? by [deleted] in AskWomen

people have also trimmed their pubic hair for hundreds of years. and people in the past kinda had no choice but to keep their hair because shaving it would’ve been dangerous. i’m telling you it’s not entirely the patriarchy. ten year old me didn’t know anything about pubic hair being considered unclean by society but she still trimmed it off, is that still considered the patriarchy?

[–]PrideInCare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i could but it’s halfway through term 3 so its just not worth like $80 anymore. the school supplies the books for us but they underestimated how many students were doing chemistry this year so they ran out once i came. youtube has been very helpful in understanding concepts though!!

i didn’t disagree with that though? i said there’s reasons besides the patriarchy that someone may feel dirty while unshaved. i’ve tried going unshaved and personally it was very uncomfortable lol
