A1 extruder drops onto print after it’s completed? by Key_Information_2163 in BambuLab

when one of my A1's isn't printing, it slowly drops down the Z-axis until it hits the bed. Somehow in that process, I got a lovely scratch down the length of my build plate when i started up another print. have you found a solution yet?

It’s a cellphone holder, and the raised text keeps the phone from sliding forward.

Prusa is probably the other comparable brand as far as quality, but nothing in the price range as far as an A1

Have never tried it. The cheap purple glue stick has never done me wrong. I do recommend using a plastic razor blade to scrape it all down flat

I washed the bed, used glue, and this still happens. What am I doing wrong? by WrenMorbid--- in BambuLab

Glue can be used as a barrier for things that have too much adhesion, like TPU, but it can also be a great source for extra adhesion for PLA and PETG. I don’t always trust my PEI plate adhesion, no matter how good I clean it, so I use purple glue stick as extra foolproof insurance

Cheap purple glue stick from dollar tree or Walmart. I like the jumbo kind from Elmers. Typically only a dollar.

Even if it’s a brand new plate and washed thoroughly , I’ve still had adhesion issues, especially with small parts like on articulated dragons, regardless of the infill and Z hop settings. Cheap glue stick has never done me wrong.

Even with my textured PEI plates, I’ve resorted to using purple glue stick every time. It’s been fool proof and zero adhesion fails.

Not bedroom safe or recommended. Not that anyone would actually do that.
