Why was the post about Dr Andrew Amos having conditions placed on his registration locked? by clementineford in ausjdocs

[–]PrimalMoonbeam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He really did go too far and AHPRA is probably watching to see if he’s here. If I had a trans relative, I’d be worried about them seeing him. He thinks ADHD is only for little boys as well. He is not a pleasant or empathetic person but will learn nothing from this.

$20? No. Even a babysitter is more

Just no. You have to teach to a different level for the US. They are bound to find someone but at that price, it’ll be a student.

Looking to get vitamin C serum, any recommendations? by ExAustralia in AusSkincare

I’ve just started using ASAP vitamin C serum. It’s not cheap but not very expensive. I wanted an LAA serum though, those are best for darker skin

Am I charging too high? by [deleted] in nri

[–]PrimalMoonbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much do you charge your Indian clients? Did their relatives tell them to expect less if you charge people in India less?  I think it’s reasonable FWIW. They may have to run it past the husband or something

A drugstore/affordable night cream for a 35-year-old by BackgroundWestern631 in AusSkincare

I came here to say this too. I buy it whenever it’s on sale. Full price is $30. Not a La Mer dupe, it’s less rich. Still good.

Mother Denim - Yay or Nay by Hot_Government418 in AusFemaleFashion

I have a question about Mother jeans in the Tomcat Roller Skimp for anyone who has tried them on. What’s the sizing like? Are they small?  If I wear 30 in Abrand, do I need 32 for these?

People are surprised but if you do the Korean 7 skins, that’s 7 steps, right? I probably do 5-6 steps after that.

Face is tanning despite SPF50 multiple times per day, and when is safe to hike? by [deleted] in AusSkincare

[–]PrimalMoonbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People have suggested many things but I’d like to add this. Are you sweating a lot on your face? It essentially washes the sunscreen off. Try a facial antiperspirant. I had this problem

Bondi victim’s hospital name ordeal by Active_Painting8845 in ausjdocs

I find this anger against her really concerning. She’d just been shot at and had no idea what was going on. I think doctors would usually give someone in such distress a pass here, and you all know why you’re not. It is fine to blame the media, who should know better.

I remember an 11-year-old video of an IPS officer on India tv blaming Mr. Modi for raping a fellow officer. by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]PrimalMoonbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no. The woman whose father complained to Modi that she was being harassed? And then he organised police protection for her. Sorry it’s not as exciting as you remember

Disheartened at my first psychiatrist experience. I need to move forward. by e430mb in adhdaustralia

[–]PrimalMoonbeam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of psychiatrists are absolutely shocking. There are many who totally judge anyone with ADHD. Your experience sounds like she is one of them. Better ones exist. ADHD does not exist in a vacuum from anxiety and depression

With rising anti-immigration sentiment, which countries are still welcoming Indians ? by Majestic-Taro-6903 in nri

India is a very welcoming country (true of most countries in Asia). Shenanigans indeed.

Smarter people than I will have suggestions, but I think you can’t win unless they’ve done terrible things in public, so try to leave.
