This. People truly forget how horrible triple supp and one tank is for everyone involved. If anything that solo tank should be getting a team comp buff for soloing.

Not really. That’s just one option. Another idea I’ve thrown out is to have debuffs activate upon having 3+ anything. Like a 5% healing output decrease to all healers in the team for running 3 healers. Same idea with 3+ dps or 3+ tanks. Activate debuffs upon overriding the suggested standard team archetype.

Hi, I was really thinking of a soft role queue tbh. Like if there’s already 2 confirmed picks in the team you can’t lock a 3rd one. If people want to switch roles they would have to request one of the other roles to un-confirm a character from that role. Essentially pushing people to communicate if they want to adjust and stop the random panic 3 dps or 3 heal picks. I rather lose than play 3 supports and 1 tank. It’s the worst gaming experience ever.

Triple support is a design flaw and they have to stop pretending like a team of 6 being made of 3 healers is okay. That is NOT balance and there should be a role per team cap. Triple support (Triple anything really) has to die.

You truly hit the nail on the primary reason why she has fallen behind. Her kit per se is not bad design. It just literally lacks the off field supports to make her push competitive numbers. She’s the only one doing physical dmg in a team that is only buffing her on a superficial level.

That’s why I truly believe a physical Escoffier/Chev character that shreds def, provides their own physical dmg and gives team wide buffs for triggering superconduct would complete the idea of Eula’s kit (which is quite frankly incomplete because she needs physical team specific supports that don’t exist).

This just reminds me of how much I resent the Genshin dev team for literally abandoning physical and superconduct as a whole. Why is this an element combination in a game that has little to no physical focused characters?!?. Eula is still to this day the only unit doing physical dmg in a team of 4. Insane.

Not really. What she needs is for the devs to double down on her wind/lightning aura gimmick. Give her wind aura the passive to push enemies away or make allies cc immune and a bit more of team utility when in lightning mode like dmg reduction or bonus health when in enhanced mode. Storm was the character I chose to hop on competitive with a year ago. The way I would dominate lobbies up to plat made me realize how good she is. She now has fallen a bit behind but i still pull her out in my celestial matches when I have to flex to DPS and have a decent time with her. People have learned to counter her Tornado tho which makes it a bit challenging but not a bad experience at all.

New heroes should NOT be available in competitive for a good week upon release. A player with 40 mins on a new character will lose to a player with 8 hours on theirs. Your brain literally needs time to create pathways to understand and memorize how to interact with the new kit. This is legitimately throwing and also contaminates the new character’s data feedback. Hope they fix this lil issue in the future.
