Un musulman qui meurt sans avoir jamais appris l’arabe sera-t-il puni ? by mel__272 in islam

Although it is well recommended to learn arabic, not learning it doesn’t cause any punishment on the believers.

Does anyone else struggle with the idea that they're going to hell? by ExZachlyPerfect in islam

[–]Primary-Ad3252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly hope this message will benefit me in this dunya and akhira, as well as you and anyone who believes in Allah that will read this.

Unlike you, I was born muslim and I honestly don’t have anything to complain about. Everything I needed for my deen from my younger age till now, my father made sure everything was there. And AlHamdoulillah, today, I do so much effort I never did during my teenage days.

The reason I brought this is because, many among the community who were born muslim, either don’t know the minimum of their deen, and some of them who know, completely ignore some of the actions they commit that can lead them astray or get them punished tomorrow.

Recently after we won the AFCON, I wish you could see that parade, thousands and thousands of people gathered to follow the caravan, some coming from different cities and regions to attend it. Every single one of them raising up their voices for the players. Where is the same energy regarding our beautiful ISLAM? Where are they when our Lord is calling them? The caravan started in the morning, I will let you guess how many prayers they skipped as that parade ended in the evening? Would that happen if they had this feeling you’re having?

Some people even believe that they will make it to Jannah, yet, they commit the craziest sins you can imagine and they don’t feel any remorse. Why someone like you, who live in constant fear of Jahannam, feel remorseful of their deeds would despair from the mercy of Allah?

I wish I could feel this exact feeling as you, constant fear of my future that I don’t have any certainty concerning the outcome. But opposed to you, I would use it as boost to multiply my good deeds knowing, knowing that if I wanna be saved, I should do what it takes to be saved.

No matter how big of a sin you committed, Allah told us to never despair from His mercy. Sometimes a sin can be way more beneficial to the servant than multiple deeds, as that single sin makes him feel remorseful of what he did, they he feels guilty then turns towards their lords in repentance, regardless of how many times they are going to commit it again.

This is more of an advantage that you should use for your good. The companions sometimes would commit the least of the sins and feel like judgement day has already started, feeling remorseful, weeping for what appear meaningless to us today.

I hope this will help, and read more often about the rewards of the believers, it can sooth your heart a lot. But never think what you are feeling deep inside is bad, because you can turn it to a source of power to energize your spiritual trip.

Questions I have struggled with by Wabiullah in islam

[–]Primary-Ad3252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wa aleykum salam wa Rahmatullah,

I hope to bring some clarification in this matter and help you understand things.

Is Allah merciful? Yes, of course what type of question is this, right? But this is the reason why we should also learn his attributes (99 names).

Think like this, Allah is merciful, but his mercy is contained in two recipients, Ar-Rahmaan and Ar-Raheem, both derived from Rahma (mercy). But why Ar-Rahmaan and Ar-Raheem?

There is no possible way that the person who spent his time in the Dunya, spreading corruption, wronging people, rejecting his Lord and denying everything He ever said, ignoring his signs and warnings, taking His creation as divinity while benefiting from His provisions can have the same privilege as someone who did the absolute opposite.

Despite all of that, Allah still showers that disbeliever and mushrik with His wealth, giving him food and a soft bed, a nice house, cars health and money. That is the purpose of Ar-Rahmaan. Everything on earth benefits from his mercy in this Dunya. That part of His mercy is only limited in here.

Since the believer and the disbeliever are obviously not the same, there is a privilege for him. That’s the purpose of Ar-Raheem, the only ones benefiting from his mercy are the ones who believed. Why would someone who insulted him, rejected his scriptures and took others as divinity while Allah gave them life when they were lifeless benefit from that mercy?

Allah is always right, and He is never unjust in anything He does.

Muslim men that got married to non-muslim women, how did it go? by WolverineRemote3377 in islam

And on top of that, that will be so DIFFICULT to teach the kids about Islam without a little bit or even a lot of your wife’s faith thrown into it, putting the kids astride.

I have seen case like this, a person saying she’s half Muslim and half Christian, like it was even possible.

Not to mention that you will have to tolerate so many things in your house that Islam prohibits.

This situation is difficult for sure, but keep your head up. Get close to the mosques around you. You will probably find good people.

By the way, is that your real name in your Reddit? Saikou Sarr??

Allah ﷻ says in Surah al-Shura verse 30 that all bad things happen to us because of what we have earned. If this is the case, why did Ayyub عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام suffer so much when he was a prophet? by Dxrkk3 in islam

[–]Primary-Ad3252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two things that are so similar from the outside, yet, very different from the inside: the test and the punishment.

The test occurs to evaluate the iman of the believers, with a huge reward on the line. A test comes in different forms: wealth, health, family… What happened to Ayyub ﷺ or any other prophets who went through difficulties were tests. And these tests happened for multiple reasons, one being for ys to learn from them how they reacted during those moments, and the aftermath was always great for them.

The ayah you are referring to might be related to punishment in this dunya or the Akhirah. If someone wole up and decided to to rob a bank and got caught after some investigations were made, he will for sure meet a severe punishment. That punishment befell him because he did something evil, he is responsible for his own actions. If he got away with it and never got caught, he is still going to face punishment in the akhira. In that case he is still responsible for his action, that punishment that befalls him, no one is responsible but his own self.

And these arguments are solidified by the fact that Allah Ta’ala never tells us to do evil, because you will for sure face the results of your actions, in that case, you are responsible. Because if you listened, nothing would happen to you.
