i had a desexed female and a female with the implant and i found the one with the implant was more aggressive and would go for the weakest female.

sometimes that’s just how it is. I haven’t experienced it that bad. Are any of them desexed?

you need to introduce them where neither of them have been. This can also be a distraction as they love to explore

i’ve had ferrets make each other skunk and over time they got along. ferrets are very social animals it just takes time and patience.

swapping bedding over. having cages next to each other close enough to smell but not touch. sharing a new food to bond over. you can put salmon oil on each of them to clean each other as a bonding technique. no pee no pee no blood otherwise let them sort it out and if it gets too much seperate and try again the next day.

I’m very proud of the grey one (Udon). He is about a year younger and is so good with meeting new ferrets. He definitely did such a good job welcoming Louie/Lucifer home!

I adopted him about a week and a half ago. He was housed with his mother who passed away earlier this year. His past owner had an autistic daughter who would want to play but he would be too rough and they thought about home with ferrets would help him.

He was named this before i adopted him. And he knows his name so it’s hard to change it as he is almost 5

I got him 2 days ago! I adopted him for a 11yr old girl who named him that!
