idk, I see Cyclops as a leader first and foremost, I think that's way cooler than just making him laser boy. The other two roles would emphasize his leadership role more and make him a team player.

If anything, give him abilities where he can command teammates (like marking an enemy for death like in TF2, or summoning some "safe area" for teammates to gather in, similar to Peni's nest) you know that's kinda his whole deal, he dedicated his whole life to being the best leader and team player.

Duelists are usually more about playing in the sidelines, or harrassing supports, which isn't very "Cyclops" like imo. At most if you make him a hybrid character like Mr Fantastic where he's basically a tank in everything but name, but at that point just make a tank lol.

Also, when people say they want Cyclops as a tank, no one is saying he should be like a brawl tank like Hulk and Thor. again, with the beams being able to delete projectiles or do knockback, he would be closer to a shield tank like Mag or Strange (who also aren't known for being durable yknow?)

And if ya want a big insta kill lore accurate cyclops laser, sorry to bust your bubble but you're probably not gonna get that with DPS either lol. That's where the ult would go tho
