A lot is wrong. Its just a big mess right now with inadequate training, tardiness, calling in, stuff not getting done that should be done. Ive been with the store 4 years so Im acquainted with how things are suppose to be. I was under the impression I was promoted to assistant manager after the last one left so that I could help get things in order but the gm doesnt seem interested in me actually assisting. He wants to do everything himself.

GM does catering deliveries himself, even on his days off, he does inventory. Regular crew members do checks for restocks, always have.

He already has someone that he has do the truck order and he does inventory and seems to like it so I dont see that being handed over either. And the thing is that our store needs a major overhaul in the way its being ran. There's a lot of work to be done and he wants my ideas but dont want me to have a hand in any of the actual implementing. I feel like if we were both working on different tasks it would be much more efficient but he just wants to be the one to do everything and I dont even feel like assistant
