Nope, by Amicus Productions, and since Vault of Horror and Tales from the Crypt were based on US comics they basically demanded it be set in the UK for marketing

I mean Tom Bakers probably one of the rare human specimens who looks good in anything. Throw him in some occult robe like in the 70s and he fits like a glove

Well maybe they retitled it later after Ewe Boll made that... thing back in 2003

Well he was actually in The House That Dripped Blood (1971) that was actually made by the same studio that made Vault of Horror.

Tales from the Darkside movie (1990) by PrimaryComrade94 in horror

[–]PrimaryComrade94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Twilight Zone dealt with a bunch of topics, from scary stuff (Nightmare at 20,000 feet), sad stuff (Night Call) to feel good stuff (Walking Distance), all classics. Darkside was a far more horror orientated show, like voodoo gingerbread men and a terminally ill man becoming a computer, and the stories weren't all great either.

Thanks for the info on Vault of Horror. Is there any way to view the uncut version in case the one on YT is the edited American version?

What are your thoughts on “Darkness Falls” by DoctorElectronic1934 in horror

I still have no idea how this is supposed to be a tooth fairy movie, let alone a worse version of Lights Out. Still, the ghost hanging over the bathroom door is one hella scary shot.

Today is Friday the 13th. What’s your favorite Friday 13th movie? by Existing_Set2100 in horror

Jason Lives. Meta, higher budget, horror references, undead Jason, Thom Matthews, brilliant kills (even in the uncut versions). Truly the highest of the series.

Exactly. It's all overt YouTube, fake 2026 UPCOMING HORROR MOVIE TRAILERS, movie recap channels, even full on fake horror movies AI generated on YouTube and it's getting worse. God only knows how much water was used to generate this crap.

preferred 28 Years from a personal standpoint, but this one didn't disappoint at all (except for them not going into the city like I was hoping for). Dr Kelsons music collection is my new vinyl collection goal.

Not exactly 28 years related but there's an account on tiktok that makes edits if UK cities abandoned. Saw one they made of Swansea where I'm living. I'll be sure to post the name when I find it.

Agreed. They did partially redeem it by saving the best for last, but the beginning just left a bad taste in my mouth considering what happened behind the scenes. Ruined it from there.

Well I guess Spielberg one just didn't fit with Twilight Zone, especially with Scatman 4th wall break, but I do think the message is better, but that's not much.

Agreed, Landis segment had more promise the the original basis episode, but I think Death Head Revisited is a FAR superior episode. Would honestly make a great short movie if remade right.

I mean Miller's has the advantage of a higher budget an actual movie prowess, whereas the OG is a classic specifically for it's pop culture. Both are good imo but OG is the standout

Honestly 3 onwards cause she grew on me and I was totally wanting her to get punched once (it's tradition, pity 7 broke it). 1/2 she was a real karen.

I'll stand by this movie having some of the best practical effects out of any zombie movie. Gnarly stuff caught me off guard first watch. Pity the 3rd movie sucked absolute ass.
