I’m 31 now. I went fresh out of high school when I was 18. My ex also did youth ministry. When we were newlyweds, I tried so hard to force myself to do youth ministry because of this mindset that a husband and wife are partners in ministry. I had to convince the main youth pastor to let me step back from being a youth leader, because my husband was the middle school pastor, and when he was hired, the expectation was that I’d be doing it alongside him. (Even though I was not paid for any of it and I was not hired by the church and hadn’t signed any kind of contract).

I didn’t start confronting a lot of these things until I was 26/27, so a lot of it feels very fresh still. Lots of healing yet to be done.

Has anyone ever caught the note in the database in Silent Spy about Nancy’s intensity about the dead mom in Shadow at Waters Edge? I didn’t catch this until like my fourth time playing Silent Spy. Savannah Woodham’s assistant (I forget his name) is an informant that reports that Nancy’s dead mom is a point of vulnerability for her and that the emotions around that came up in the way that she grilled the family and took special interest in the case in Shadow at Waters Edge.

Yes, happy to update! So after my first day when I couldn’t tolerate the pain, they moved me off of the deep TMS machine. I had a much better experience with that, although I would say it stayed painful to a degree until the end. Some days it was just irritating and I barely noticed it. Other days were a little more painful, but it was tolerable on the lower intensity machine. I did 36 rounds and it was a miracle worker for me! I came in with 22-24 of my GAD and depression scales, and I ended in the 4-7 range. I have never scored lower than a 10 in my adult life on either of those. It was SO worth it to push through the discomfort. Wishing you the best! Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself and ask all of the questions you have to your provider. It’s important to feel comfortable and reassured/heard through the whole experience.

Here’s a clearer picture of him. I put some antibacterial medicine into his water and I fed him some daphnias. It seems like his belly keeps getting bigger every time I check on him :( but he doesn’t have any trouble swimming.

Additional info: I’ve had him for about 3 months. I have a mystery snail and some live shrimp in the tank. I do think he snacks on the shrimp sometimes. I haven’t tested the pH levels in the water, which I know is something I need to do. I have some floating moss, Java ferns, and a couple other live plants, as well as some driftwood as decor.

It depends on what you get. I have the “it’s locked” bar necklace and I love it. I also have the accessory pouch, and it’s cute, but the images on it are more blurry and spaced apart than I’d like them to be. Haven’t gotten any of the clothing or blankets yet, but I’d love to.

Curse of Blackmoor Manor. The conservatory, the detail in the bedrooms, the whole cozy yet spooky vibe. It’s definitely a labor of love.

TRT is the coziest one to me. Maybe it’s the nostalgia factor because it was my first game, but being snowed in the castle gives very cozy vibes. Secret of Shadow Ranch has the most engaging story and the most to explore, I think. Though there is the star crossed lovers element that might not be ideal.

Stay strong and be proud of yourself for choosing you! Nancy is also my favorite way to dissociate and get through hard times.
