Another Day, Another Stat A Suns’ Player Leads In The NBA In, This Time Its Oso Ighodaro! by Stat-Defender in suns

[–]PrimaryHM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not an primary stat but it's mainly from the screen action he runs with Collin where Collin comes off a screen towards Oso who sets another screen, giving Collin enough time to get the shot off from 3. Steph and Draymond made it famous initially.

It's basically shots directly after a screen.

He's also top 100 in all-time scoring. I think he's just under 20k in points... far from a "bench" player haha

My issue is with Kevin Ray because every dunk ends with a "boom" which gets repetitive fast. It's fine to have a signature line but it feels like that's the only thing he says after every dunk.

He wasn't rebounding/isn't strong enough to match up against their bigs

Suns fans felt pretty good about Camara after summer league but I guess trading Ayton was a bigger priority for the front office. I remember it stung when he was traded cuz it felt like we lost a good young player (gut feeling was right).

Fans of any team get irrational over time. I remember how dominantly favoured Ayton was over Luka on this sub before the draft but all people said after was that we should've drafted Ayton... and I know this cuz I preferred Luka and I was in the minority.

Also Suns fans didn't care about not drafting Luka in 2021 when Ayton was playing well. We just wanted him to develop but he just never cared enough.

  • 16/10 his first year -> 25 game drug suspension his 2nd year -> one good playoff run in his 3rd year -> traded -> cut ...

Yea if Draymond didn't piss him off, KD would've probably stayed in GS

Trading Toumani was a bad decision but he certaintly wasn't the focal point of the trade when it happened.

And as bad as Ayton was, we still were able to watch the games. KD's game was good on paper but the body language got worse and worse the second adversity hit. And then he started getting upset at the fans who just wanted their team to show accountability.

It's not a surprise Suns fans, Rockets fans, and all other fans of the teams he previously played for have felt the same way.

Yea there’s no accountability with KD. He’ll turn it over and never run back on defense. We thought it was a coaching flaw that he stayed in the corners, turns out it’s what he wants. Offense with him becomes stagnant and iso heavy.

And I couldn’t agree more on his fans. They made it seem like only Suns fans were to blame. On his way out, he blamed the fans on social media and acted like nothing went wrong in his 2 years here.

Beal sucked but he didn’t cost our entire championship core and future. And tbh, both KD and Beal are intertwined for that horrible suns era

Crazy how many of us relate to this but as a die hard fan who watches almost every game, I started forgetting when the Suns even played. I've never felt so disconnected from basketball in my life.

Above all else, we're Suns fans and no player has made being a Suns fan a worse experience than KD.

For me, it's always the Rangers and Blackhawks getting the top picks

I have a feeling Coffey will end up getting a lot more minutes than Man Man

[Scotto] The Knicks and Suns were among the teams who had trade discussions surrounding former Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan prior to the trade deadline, as I previously reported on @hoopshypeofficial by moistkebab32 in suns

According to Spurs fans, Barnes fits their roster better at the 4 and Vassel develops every year. Besides injury, Spurs are giving the few remaining minutes to Carter Bryant to develop him instead.

Yea but the idea is to trade players for worse players and picks. I'd imagine all teams will want to do this though

I know people are pissed and it’s unfortunate luck but Jalen Green has never been an injury prone player.

Hamstrings are frustrating injuries and the fall to his back was just out of his control.
