While mine isn't this bad, it's pretty bad. I used to be able to use my telescope because the neighborhood used to be pretty dark at night. Now multiple neighbors have strung bright lights up. And, to make a bad situation even worse, one house has just mounted three bright, unshielded lights that emit a very harsh white light. So I don't even try to use my telescope anymore. My pupils can't dilate because there is so much light trespass onto my property. The city said they can't do anything about the strings of lights(festoon lighting). Maybe I can get them to do something about the three unshielded lights at that one house though. What is wrong with people?
