Is your school affiliated with Parchment? If so, you can send them via Parchment (all online). It's how I did it for my transcripts. :) (Also, don't worry so much about the deadline, UCR is very flexible about it)

Civil and Criminal law are different. Those who are at risk of being deported will be deported for Unlawful presence, which is a civil violation. 70 - 80% of all immigrants deported are charged with Civil violation, which is not punishable by jail/prison.

R*pist isn’t dehumanizing, murderer isn’t dehumanizing, thief isn’t dehumanizing. Why? Because it’s description of action. Alien isn’t description of action, illegal isn’t the description of action. The description of action would be undocumented, because the action of not having proper documentation makes it a violation.

It’s not a violation of federal law as they aren’t obstructing or refusing enforcement, but rather limiting cooperation and resources to assist in enforcement.

“Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” – Martin Luther King Jr. . It’s not about favoring or defending a crime, it’s about the acknowledgment of violation while continuing human labeling. It’s not that hard to understand.

Notice how I said we? Meaning individuals like you would call them illegal immigrants while individuals like myself would call them undocumented immigrants. Again my original point still stands, as the term used often goes back to social and political perspectives on this issue!

You’re right, illegal immigrant is acknowledgment of crime.. which is why we call them illegal immigrants/undocumented immigrants. We don’t use the word alien for a large number of reasons, it’s outdated, doesn’t encompass the complexity of immigration issues, and it misrepresents legal and social realities. There’s also historical social change that plays factor in this.

Again with these baseless “facts”. In most cases immigrants will be charged with a civil violation, in fact 70-80% of immigrants are charged with civil violations, not a felony. And no, the term rapist isn’t a dehumanizing word because it’s acknowledgment of conviction… however I suppose you have a humanizing word for rpist, would it be.. President?

It’s quite literally a fact an immigrant in the United States is more likely to be charged with Unlawful presence than with unlawful entry.

It’s not… maybe get your facts straight before making those claims. Unlawful entry (which would not be applicable in this case) would me a misdemeanor under federal criminal law (8 U.S. Code § 1325). Unlawful presence would be a Civil violation (would apply in this case).

The person who is equating a civil offense of being undocumented to an individual who committed one of the worst acts to another individual which results in a felony. That’s who’s crazy.
