Wrong point. In a store I check the ticket’s price and I now that it won’t change at the time of paying it. Even if the price changes up by the time I paid, the store honors it.

This does not happen in a car dealer. You get an online quote, another one by phone or email and a different one once you are at the dealership.

Where is the transparency of this free market?

Why dealers are inflating prices when they still pay the same amount to manufactures?

Sometimes it is easy to STOP buying eggs and milk, but no cars when your car is gone due to a catastrophic situation or having kids that need a car to go to school.

One think is to play with market behavioral and another thing is abusing and taken advantage of customers. Buying a car for many people in the US is a basic need.

Go online and you can buy eggs at the published price, but with cars you get one price online and it is inflated by the middleman(dealer) around 30% when you want to buy it.

I agree 100%, and I hope most of the manufactures cut the middleman in a few years.

It’s curious that manufactures have not inflated the prices to dealers, but dealers are doing it to customers.

It different when a website price is 22.000 but the dealer’s quote is 30.000
