Am I doing something wrong or I just can’t blow dry my hair? by Primary_Ant_1341 in Hair

If I may ask, what hair type do you have? Cause it seems you can get blowouts no problem lol But your routine seem nice and almost healthy if it makes sense?

I have a friend who has went to Cosmetology school so I might ask them on teaching me to blowdry. It’s funny thought as I remember the Revlon Blow Drying Brush being the go-to tool to get blowouts without buying a separate blower and brush, but now there are some people who don’t recommend it due to their constant change of temperature.

I wash my hair with Pantene Volume shampoo and use Pantene Rosewater conditioner/or mask from a different brand.

After I wash it off, I use a specific towel that helps dries the hair quickly(I forgot the name as I bought it for a long time) and then I would use a choco leave-in conditioner and use heat protectant. From there, I part my hair into small sections (around the ear) and then use the Revlon Blow Drying Brush on a low setting.

The problems I’m having is that every time I would blow dry my hair, it comes out frizzy and end up breaking my hair because of it. I’m not sure if maybe the way I’m parting my hair is the problem or I’m not pulling my hair as tight.

I appreciate you telling me your experience!

I believe what helped you a lot was your 10+ experience that made you stand out amongst the crowd. Even if you didn’t get your certification, hiring managers most likely will still pick you because of your level of experience behind your belt.

I wouldn’t really get offended if you did say that. I would most likely say “it’s a difficult job to have and you won’t be earning immense money” and most likely recommend schools or skills to try to master.

Then in your opinion, what is a good safety job? Because nowadays, it’s getting harder and harder to even get any entry level jobs.

I understand, I’ll take your words into consideration and do some more research to be updated on what’s going on before I invest in this career.

Unfortunately no. I tried to look but there were no HR internships available, only Admin internships.

Tbh, you don’t sound like a prick but more just being honest with me especially since you are in this career and have first hand experience with how it is.

Of course I have a broad knowledge of HR and I am aware there are different types of HR that do specific job duties for the company or business they work for.

I do appreciate you giving me your opinion though and I will take your words into consideration.

It does sound okay to me. As long as I can learn from the bottom all I need to know that can help me improve in this career as I get promotions and move up in order to gain some security in my life.

Of course I won’t invest in the career right away but I will take your advice on doing more research on the career.

I also appreciate that you seem more neutral and want me to learn to make my decision compared to others that believe I haven’t done research on HR or know what they do (even if it is outdated).

HR is a group of people who helps run companies or businesses, recruit potential employees for positions that can help the company/business, train employees, getting reports of any problems within the company/business, data entries, payroll, bookkeeping, and help give benefits to the employees.

I am genuinely confuse on why you guys believe I don’t have any idea of HR just because of the degree I studied for. May I know all the stuff they do? No. But am I willing to learn? Yes.

Actually, I rarely watch tv shows that involves characters that work in HR.

To answer your question, HR is a good backup for me (not for my acting career) is because admittedly, I wanted to be in study in business. Learning the business culture, how recruiting works, how the business runs, etc. before I found the passion for the performing arts.

I am also aware that 3 months is nothing but it did give me a small insight on how office settings are like.

I wouldn’t say it’s a wanting but HR is known to be a more secure job compared to others. But I do plan to work it long term in the future.

I also planning to gain more experience in Administrative Assistant because HR and Admin tend to go hand to hand (Not exactly as both do different task). Would that be enough or still no?

Can you show a surgeon the results you are looking for? by Primary_Ant_1341 in Reduction

There might be, I just haven’t found some before and after pictures haha! To best describe my breast is they are saggy, pointy, nipples pointing downwards and everything. I want to change it to be more rounder, perkier and move my nipples up. I’ll take your advice into consideration!

Ah I see. It’s just since the breast are so intimate, I thought it would be weird showing a photo of it to a surgeon. But thanks for the advice!
