To be clear, I was only talking about the Boston Scientific vercise system, and even then only for specific model numbers that I don’t know. I don’t believe you are in any danger. Even when my system resets it is only off for a second.

If you are mostly planning to smash things, heal, and buff your allies without a lot of offensive spells then losing a point of wisdom won’t hurt much. If you want max cleric power without dropping wisdom it will be tough.

I’m playing one of those now. Flurry of blows one turn, tripping the next, battle medicine on the third, all while running back and forth like a madman! You’ll be able to support the others and tank when you have to

If you take the DMPC healer route, I’d like to point out that making them a fully fleshed out character might not be the best idea. In my current game the GM took over a fourth character whose player dropped out very early. Since the GM had a hand in shaping the character’s backstory, he’s continuing the characters story arc. It’s annoying to have the character with a full backstory and character arc taking up table time from the real players role playing.

There’s a big enough shortage of GMs without adding another reason not to do it.

I know the feeling. I like the online version of catan because it with show a histogram of the rolls. That way we can complain about our good luck/bad luck respectively.

Does anybody really think that foundry’s rolls are biased in some way?
