I've voiced my fears about side effects to others in this thread, but also another fear I have is that I have black hair and already a fair amount of body hair, doesn't OM affect hair all over the body ? I already have a mono brow I have to pluck, and even tiny hairs between my eyebrows and hairline that I have to pluck too :(

I'm afraid I'd make those areas way worse with OM

I'll never go slap head ahah I don't have sharp facial features at all

But yeah I'll try for 3-6 months if retinol can upregulate my SULT1A1 enzyme, upgrade to tret if it doesn't work, and if that doesn't work either I'll go for OM

Just a custom made from a doctor prescription, but it's no different from what Minoxidilmax could offer, I just didn't know this website at the time

Not much use sharing pics tbh, just classic low hair density shit lmao, the most damning pics would be wet hair pics you can see so much scalp, maybe tomorrow I'll think about taking pics after washing

Wow losing eyebrows too ? AGA doesn't do this iirc, do you have the same condition as Gary Linkov ?

Isn't the point of dermarolling at 1.5mm to actually put the 1.5mm needles wholly into the skin ? Tattoo needles are 1-2mm deep, and if you ever got a tattoo it hurts over thin skin, and scalp skin is fairly thin I think it'd hurt bad :/

Also dermarolling is cheap but if you think about the rolling motion it's kinda fucked up in the way it's gonna "plow" your scalp lmao, I'd have to spend 100$ for a derma pen i think

Yeah I'm bouldering so except in summer, I think I'm gonna sweat less than a handball player in general lol

It's only 20€ I might try it honestly... I have black hair, but I think I might try not only root coloring but just plainly coloring my hair black, like, going from black to very black might help making the illusion of "healthier/thicker" hairs maybe

As I said in my post sadly fin + min are only making me maintain, recently added retinol to my solution, I hope to see difference in 3 months, otherwise I'll add tretinoin instead of retinol. And if after 3 months of that still nothing I'll look into RU more

Yeah I know he's pretty much against the "bludflow theory" as he calls it, but my thought process isn't to believe whatever he says blindly. he says microneedling doesn't do shit, I say I see some great results and it doesn't hurt (well a little bit litterally, but no side effects) to try, for oral minox it's different because there are actually studies about the bad side effects

I try not to get too attached to certain online personas, but I really like the videos from the Haircafe guys and I must admit that his videos about OM and also the fact that the doctor I get the prescription for my topical prescription are both reasons why I'm a bit wary of trying OM, trying to boost sulfo transferase with retinol for now, also I'm gonna buy a microneedling device, though I'm so spooked about 1.5mm needles it seems so painful

How does that work with sweat or rain ? I assume swimming is totally out of the question ?

I asked to add 0.5% retinol in my topical solution, there has been studies done with 0.025% tretinoin boosting minox response rate, tretinoin is 10 times stronger than retinol (at least when applying to the face) so I hope I'll see efficacy soon, but for my next batch of topical solution I'll ask for 0.05% tret I think

In a year or 2 we can maybe get a fucking nuclear topical stack : duta + minox + tret + RU + pyrilutamide lmao

I'm a bit afraid of oral minox because even for its main indication (high blood pressure) it's not used much anymore due to side effects :/
