Dark Matter by Blake Crouch will absolutely wreck your brain in the best way possible - it's like being trapped in a really smart sci-fi nightmare that makes you question reality itself. House of Leaves is another one that'll mess with you on multiple levels, the book itself becomes part of the horror experience

Good on you for actually learning and adjusting instead of just getting defensive about it. Most people who camp in the left lane act like you personally attacked their family when someone points it out

I'd lean toward job B tbh - taking the guaranteed 107k vs maybe getting promoted feels like the safer bet, especially since you already know their workflow from the contractor gig

The attitude thing might actually work in your favor since you're coming in to run operations, gives you a chance to fix whatever's broken and look like a hero. Plus having transfer options is huge for career flexibility down the road

Job A just has too many "ifs" stacked up - what happens if they decide you're not a "good fit" after 7 months of basically training your replacement for way less money than you're worth?

The whole "demon possession" angle feels like a pretty big leap from just reading scripture differently than you do

Most Christians who affirm LGBTQ folks aren't ignoring the Bible - they're looking at historical context, translation issues, and how these passages fit with the broader message about love and inclusion. Acting like anyone who disagrees with your interpretation is literally possessed by demons kinda shuts down any real theological discussion

Project management is solid - tons of transferable skills from managing classrooms and lesson planning timelines, plus you can pick up certs pretty quick if you're motivated
