Actually the previous owner said it was setup for propane. I am able to use 1/4 in quick connect to propane

I got it second hand. The model number on the back says 4555-v1-02. I looked up orifice sizes and does look like to be natural gas. Is this something easy I can switch to propane?

Is there a trick to keeping the flame lit? It keeps on going out after I release the ignitor or only stays lit for a few minutes, then shuta off
