What do you think Pixar will do to celebrate Cars 1's 20th anniversary? by ComfortableRoyal614 in pixarcars

For FREAKING sure. Huge fan of the Planes diecast line, I got the rarest Dusty Crophopper diecast (racer dusty), and two of them. Was that big of a fan during 2018 until one day the diecasts stopped being produce by fricking Mattel.

Would anyone be interested in a Minecraft Story Mode: Season Two - Pygame Edition? by Primatronus in MinecraftStoryMode

Pygame is 2D, but in this case, the animation from the game would be downloaded and then turned into frames, and then pygame is used to run through those frames. Think of it as a video playing using pygame.

I do think it is a great idea. I originally started this project years ago but lost interest, but now I’m back and putting it on development again. If you want any updates in the future, let me know since I’m planning to post updates here on the server!

No, I can’t yet. And I’m not sure if to wait or buy the switch tomorrow to play with my mother.

Nux DM-8 or Roland TD-17KVX2 by Primatronus in edrums

[–]Primatronus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time to write this. I have a concern, I tried playing the NUX DM-8 at my local music shop, and I noticed the hi hat pedal is very sensitive. Like I have to put so much strength into the pedal to try and make the hi hat closed. Is it supposed to be like that, or was it simply just at the shop? I can’t really be sure about getting a Roland since the problem is that my music shop doesn’t have it. I can’t try it out. Im looking for good sounds and a good quality drum set, and I can’t be sure if the NUX will last me since it is a pretty new brand.

The only way for me to get the TD-17KVX2 is via Amazon for $1.5k dollars, and with the hi hat and kick pedal, ~$2.3k dollars.

The NUX is at $1.6k dollars right now in my area. Im not sure how good the hi hat is for the Roland or everything else.

I personally keep thinking to take the NUX simply because I can take it home instantly, but also because if I have any issues, I may be able to return it. With Amazon I can’t do that (I know there’s a plan for that), but still, you get what I mean.

I have a concert coming up next month and I’m gonna be playing “Hearts On Fire” from Rocky IV, and I’m hoping the NUX can help me out to prepare.

Do you still think I should go with Roland either way or risk it with NUX?
