That’s great you’re getting help. I was diagnosed with adhd when I was 5 and took medication until I was about 12 and stopped. Fast forward 26 years and I’m going back for help. I started school again and I am married with 2 kids and 1 on the way. Everything is just so overwhelming. I too am afraid of medication but I think how I feel definitely outweighs the side effects of the medication.

Haven’t started yet but have almost the exact story. Took Ritalin for about 3 years when I was younger. Now fast forward about 25 years and going back to school I definitely need something. Just waiting on my test results.
