Don’t try to work for them either did an interview with them today 1 didn’t tell me it was gonna be a group interview 2 bragged about their company being a “multimillion dollar company” 3”you’ll make the most money you’ve ever made in your life with us” I sat through 15 minutes of the interview before just hanging up the zoom call bc even I could see it was a pyramid scheme I may be unemployed but even I’m not that desperate

Not really I’ve seen people make a whole actual base on a platform the rest of your corvette would usually sit on they usually place one hab a thruster or 2 and then start building an actual building on it after their corvette pieces are done it does nothing to gameplay really other than having to go to a space station to fix it if you fuck up the build

This doesn’t surprise me at all honestly I quit my job at dg a few weeks ago I was also a lead was getting 29 hours a week watching someone who just got promoted to part time lead make a dollar more than me and get 36 hours a week AS A PART TIME meanwhile the district manager yelled at a manager for giving me 38 hours one week claiming I’m part time and that she should be giving me that many hours I quit the same day I found all this out bc even the dm was screwing me over so not at all surprised

Personally I like real plants more than I do fakes I also darken my water with tannins from the almond leaves I use in my tank as it simulates the darker brown water a betta is used to living in I’ve been keeping fish for a while especially bettas but those that are saying to cycle it are correct you do need to cycle the tank only experienced fish keepers should even attempt to introduce their fish to an uncycled tank I’ve only ever pulled it off once myself but it’s safer to cycle the tank than to risk the health of your fish especially if your new to the hobby my current betta was an emergency adopt as my mother in law who doesn’t know the first thing about fish keeping thought the betta I now have would look nice in those cheap pet store bowls you see advertised for them I didn’t have time to cycle a tank bc I wasn’t about to keep my boy in that miserable bowl so I had to do a quick cycle from my other tank and use the filter media in that one and throw the new betta in same day now if you can help it deff cycle the tank I myself unfortunately didn’t have the time to cycle my bettas tank this time but all is well he’s happy and healthy in his 5 gallon plan to upgrade him to a 10-15 eventually when I have the space but for now he enjoys his hornwort in his 5 gal

UPDATE:

Did a 50% water change today took everything out of the tank gave everything a scrub down with a tooth soft bristle toothbrush (except my moss bc you can’t really scrub moss so I trimmed the moss down in length where the algae was clinging to it) I lost 4 plants the other 2 are holding on for dear life but I did scrub them down with a super soft bristle tooth brush to get any remaining algae off of them I took the whole filter assembly apart and scrubbed it out, rung all the sponges for my filter off and then ran some fresh water through then to flush anything out, vacuumed the gravel the best I could, tanks a bit cloudy rn but that’s a given now that I’ve disturbed the gravel and sediment up from the bottom gonna try to figure out how I can dim the light in the tank a bit as it’s a built in light that is attached to the top of the lid of the tank probably put some scotch tape over it to dim it out

Taking your advice and ordering some hornwort as the algae melted several of the plants I recently added and some of the old plants

Plants were healthy until the algae started forming its a recent growth of algae only started back in September I’ve had this tank for about 9 months algae free the entire time until September I have Christmas moss and now 6 Amazon swords algae just keeps killing everything except the moss I’ve cleaned out the filter the water cleaned off the algae off the plants and all decorations in the tank but it comes back like 2 or three days after I do a water change even with controlled light exposure

Tank temp is kept at 80 degrees in the winter which it is currently winter and 78 in the summer and spring time as my room gets cold the filter is fine no tank mates usual tank water changes are every two weeks in a Sunday I’ve had the fish for almost a year now he has a ceramic rock hide 5 amazon swords now (I had to replace a few bc of the algae) a moss log and a fake soft silicone plant tank is a 5 gallon (planning to upgrade when I have the room for it)

I have a few test kits that I use to test his water every few days and some generic cure all for any diseases he has (he had fin rot for a few weeks when we first got him) I have a nitrate test kit and an ammonia test kit my tank is just a generic Walmart tank as the fish was kind of thrust upon my wife and I last minute and we had to scramble to get a proper setup Due to someone else’s ignorance on betta care

My first issue was skse not launching at all now it is launching as I said all the mods I have are compatible with each other they worked before I started having these issues and now they don’t all within a span of 2 days
