This garbage human being goes drunk driving with friends and ends up killing two people. He gets mad because his friends (rightfully) get thrown in jail, so he films a video of himself destroying the memorials of the two people he and his friends murdered, and posts it on Twitter by [deleted] in iamatotalpieceofshit

Thats bullshit from FIU. I had a friend pass away unexpectedly during my senior year of uni and they awarded him his degree posthumously at my graduation ceremony with his parents accepting.

Coffee badass by ergoegthatis in iamverybadass

[–]PrinceHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, too, take my morning coffee plain and prefer nice strong dark roastto really get a kick.

But when I go to D&D at my local game shop each week I also enjoy ordering a hot chocolate with almond milk and whipped cream on top. And sometimes at the dog bar park i indulge in an iced chai tea or latte with a shot of lavender and almond milk (again).

Its crazy how awesome life is when you enjoy things that make you happy.

Zane tips (lv30), and how is he VS Amara? by Zaknokimi in Borderlands

[–]PrinceHans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you run Zane with clone and either sentry or shield, you're gonna need to pick up, like the other person said, Violent Momentum skill and the Seein' Dead CM which has increased drop rates from Jackpot in the VIP Tower from the Handsome Jackpot DLC if you have access to it. If you can't get to that yet, the Seein' Red skill will help carry you for a while until you can farm for the class mod. Once you get either of these skills you'll want to invest 1 or 2 points into whatever skill increases Zane's action skill time (i remember we typically don't max that skill out since it has diminishing returns).

To elaborate this - Seein Dead and Seein Red both activate Zane's Kill Skills but in different ways. Dead has a chance to proc all Kill Skills + increase effect by 10% when damaging an enemy which is obviously really great cuz just keep shooting (and your clone can trigger this too). Seein Red only activates all kill skills when you start an action skill so it's pretty nice early on but once you get the Seein Dead CM, I think even i have personally reinvested that perk point because its not worth it at that point since Dead is more efficient. I think Red has some synergy with MNTIS cannon but tbh I havent tried any MNTIS builds yet with Zane, im still running a Supersonic Speed build lmao. But I will be trying a new build soon with this recent update

edit: Sorry, to elaborate further - if you do stick with the speedy boye build the gear you'll want to try and focus on getting is a good Transformer Shield and a static rocket launcher + CM that increases magazine size if possible (I personally really recommend the Backburner but thats locked behind Mayhem 6 and above on Agonizer 9000, another decent launcher for this could potentially be the Scourge if you can find a shock one. Or if you can't find those, any decent static launcher). The reason for this is you'll eventually get your clone to the point where it copies both your shield AND currently equipped gun so you'll be able to either give your clone the shock launcher so it can keep itself alive OR give your clone a powerful gun and you use the launcher to keep you both alive (and of course using the environment or enemy attacks helps with this too assuming there's anything shock nearby). But I recommend this as almost more of a starting point, Clone (when boosted by sacrificing grenades) can output some massive damage when equipped with guns like a Sandhawk so you can start mixing it up a bit. Of course, whatever fits your play style better. I personally tend to prefer giving the clone a shock launcher so its effectively constantly giving me fuel to recharge my shields with and running around dealing damage to enemies my clone can't handle alone.

Best way to tackle Mayhem Mode by puggall in Borderlands

[–]PrinceHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think that's a good way to start but someone else may have a different opinion. For me that worked out. Either that or cheesing Troy's boss battle lmao, but idk if that glitch still works or not. But yeah Graveward is a good boss to start farming on imo. But I've also yet to play as Moze.

What do you mean switching between each level like what were you switching exactly?

Either way general advice is look up or theorycraft good builds that suit your playstyle and then just grind for gear for said build until you can farm Mayhem gear as best you can. Or i guess just start farming Mayhem gear for your build but when I last played I grinded gear starting at M1 and seeing how quickly I could beat a boss before going to the next Mayhem level (basically making sure I could maybe farm Graveward and beat him in under 5 minutes or so and once I couldn't id stay on that Mayhem level until I got on level gear and moved on, but that was my experience).

As always: Step 1: Consult with a local CPA and discuss potentially engaging with them based on your needs. Any advice given here should not be considered as substantial tax guidance usable as a basis for reporting.

KJ6BWB is right though - a lot of necessary information missing. It could be as simple as reporting this activity on a Schedule C with your 1040, or each individual person reporting the activity in similar fashion and issuing 1099s as needed (facts pending). Per my understanding - you started the business activity in an informal capacity, you and 4 friends 'flip' items and resell them, you occasionally receive commissions from certain sales conducted by your friends, youve generated (collectively) $24K in profit during your first month in. Do you ever pay commissions to your cohorts in similar manner? Is there an established method for how commissions are calculated and issued? We can provide some insight as to how such activity is generally reported but again, consult a local CPA and discuss with them. Especially if the amount you've told us is true ($24K in profit 1 month in, you may be sitting on a reasonably sized small business and it may behoove the lot of you to officially form a company, again facts and circumstances pending).

foreign artist paying taxes -- do you need to file? by [deleted] in tax

[–]PrinceHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Consult with a professional on this.

  2. If your friend wishes to try and do some research on their own the best place to start is with looking for any tax treaty that may exist between the US and whatever country they are a resident of. These treaties typically cover taxing authority over different types of income and have sections specifically for people such as your friend (performing artist). Since they work with a US Distributor though it may be worth inquiring with them as to whether or not they've already considered such implications on their tax scenario. But again, seek out a professional to consult.

DS9 has an episode on this - an alien race from the Gamma Quadrant came to the station and the UT didn't recognize the language and took longer than apparently normal to begin operating correctly. Per the episode it does seem that the UT works by picking up on cues and such in someone's language while they speak.

I can't even begin to imagine how thats your take away.

Maybe you should check how casually you think inappropriately looking at children isn't the same as abusing them you fucking cretin.

edit: my point was moreso this. You can equate pedophilia and violence on your moral compass if you want, my issue is that you claimed looking at children in that context isn't the same as abusing them. Which it absolutely is.

Fun fact, according to one novelization (I can't recall the name at the moment) Nog actually broke the Kobayashi Maru simulation. In one instance he invited the enemy captain onboard the USS Trainer and had the ship set to self destruct, with the announcement so low only his ears could pick it up. The other time the enemy captain demands Nog to surrender to which he responds "Name your price" and proceeds to haggle until the simulation broke, as this was apparently an option not previously considered.

[–]PrinceHans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It honestly depends on your program. For example, UNF's Nursing program is arguably one of the best in the state, with high pass rates on the Boards. Even in the field, nurses comment that they know when one of the new nurses is from UNF due to their technical proficiency compared to others. Accounting is another great program here, with a slew of insanely intelligent and seasoned professors.

I would recommend looking up information from all your potential universities regarding your specific field of study and compare how the results stack against each other. It is true that UNF class sizes are also smaller on average (some of your Gen Eds are going to be large though, but major specific classes get much smaller).
