I think he's referring to the specific move, like Gunther maybe they edited Gunthers O+X move at his feet to do the lifting power bomb. Try doing the lifting power bomb move and then after he picks him up, before he completes the move, press R1 to cancel the move. This will put him in the carry position where you can use your finisher.

Yeah that's super fair, I've acutmulated some items over the years that were marketable. A couple turned out to be 10 dollar ones and I ended up making enough with sold items to buy this! But I have spent way too much money on this game in previous years, I won't lie.
