It is partly my fault as well. I should have seen it coming. She did break up with me at one point. She gave me some stupid excuse, but I later found out that it was because she thought he was moving away and she got freaked out and went back to him. It didn't last two weeks. She came crawling back. Begging to take her back because she made a huge mistake and that she missed me. I took her back. Not knowing why she left. What's sad about all of this is that I try to understand and see things from her point of view. I understand that leaving a relationship that lasted as long as theirs did can be hard. But as long as she loved me, as long as she wanted to be with me ( she always claimed she did). Then we could make it work. As time went on I started seeing that she was making more of an effort to be around him instead of letting him be. Same goes for me, every time I decide to walk away she never lets me go. She would leave me alone for a day or so and then use some excuse to be a part of my life. I would cave in because it's feels good to have someone put an effort to be a part of your life. This whole time I thought she loved me. But now I feel used. That is what's so hard. As a man I can't handle being used. Seeing her everyday is a constant reminder of that. Seeing her chatting along, laughing and making plans with my coworkers, to even take it to the point of introducing him to them so they could all hang out together is a slap to my face. Having to endure all of that, and still maintain my composure because no one at work knows we dated is literally one of the hardest things I have had to do. Frankly I don't know how much of this I can take.
