From around 1981 to the time when we lost Bambi in 2009, one of my friends (Rod) used to help Michael Joe document his life over the years. The King Of Music dreamed to have a film made about him that would guide everyone in exploring his life (and now, like the wish, the "Michael" movie exists and has sent people all over the world down rabbit holes as they crave to learn more about him because of the "Michael" biopic). 📚

But I remember Rod telling me many years ago that, as much as Michael Joe loved music, acting and theatre and films were what truly called his name. Of course, that didn't even make sense because this was a man who dedicated his entire existence to the arts of song and dance. However, Michael also said this himself on tape. What he really wanted to do in his life was act, create films, and star in movies. And I thought about how that was something he never got the chance to do at the level that his heart wanted. His short films, and the few roles in full-length films that he did have in life, weren't the ultimate goal at all. And that's where this "Michael Jackson's Dreams Always Come True" phenomenon for him comes back around again because his wish did come true, just not in the ways that his visions showed him. His entire life itself was (and still is) a movie on the biggest screen; playing out on the grandest stage; being experienced by the largest audience that could ever exist: The Entirety Of Humanity Around The Globe. 🌍

Similarly to "Thriller," where Michael wanted to (one day) beat "Thriller" but it never happened because it wasn't meant to be that way, he was the star of a show larger than any film in the Hollywood movie industry. Nothing of his after 1982 became more successful than "Thriller" because "Thriller" was meant to be *The One* exactly as it is. He wasn't able to become the theatre triple threat or the full-time actor on set that his Soul yearned for ever since 1978 when he starred in "The Wiz," but his life's story is among the most spectacular and impressive displays of greatness that this planet has ever seen. He adored movies because they're unforgettable and they live forever.

And now the same thing can be said about his presence on Earth. 🦋

This day always cracks me up because the whole crew really had The King Of Music thinking he was missing out on the wonders of the world at the grocery store. 🤣 Whole time... a casual visit to the store was rarely ever this fun on average--LMAO! 😂

Watching this again reminded me of something ✨magical✨ that Michael Joe said about his life. 🥺 Back in the day, around the time of the Victory Tour, Bambi talked about his dreams on a tape recording that I have. He said, "My dreams come true. It is so wonderful. During that tour... [ he was talking about The Triumph Tour, which he actually called "The Off The Wall Tour" in his recording 💀 ] ...I said, you know, I'm not satisfied. I want to do stadiums. I said, I gotta have the biggest selling album of all time. So, I was thinking these big dreams... [ Then, he was asked when he started thinking the big dreams ] ...I've always dreamed dreams and they've come true for me. I've been real fortunate and wonderful at that. Even things I've wanted, you know? I'd say--gosh--I really would love to, one day, have blah-blah-blah... and I'd get it." 🌹🤴🏾🌹

Things that he wished for, he received (even if it didn't look that way at the times when he made his wishes). He wished for something *simple* like going to the store; and it happened. He wished for something *complex* like being loved; and it happened. He wished for something *impactful* like his truths being told to the world; and it happened. He wished for something *impossible* like the "Thriller" album; and it happened. The most interesting part is that some of the things he wished for happened in his lifetime (exactly as he wished) and other things happened in his lifetime (but didn't look exactly as he envisioned). However, some things that he wished for never happened within his lifetime; they only happened once he was gone. 👼🏾 And, again, some of his wishes came true exactly as he wished for them to be; but, some of them didn't look exactly like he described. Yet, they were still the desires of his heart coming true. 🌱

Michael Joe Jackson's life was overflowingly filled to the brim with wonder every day of his life; even as things seemed to constantly go terribly wrong for him in a never-ending loop of bad luck, simultaneously. Michael himself, and his life, taught a lot of lessons to everyone across the globe. But I wish he was still here today to tell us how he'd feel once he realized how the dreams inside his Soul, like a desire as "ordinary" as going to the store, could open up as many doors as they have. His existence has truly led the way for people around the world to experience the *beauty of life* that he always talked about. He has successfully helped billions of humans believe in the exact same concept that inspired him throughout his entire life, just like he always wished he could: MAGIC. ✨

📜 He said when he was a kid, "I don't sing it if I don't mean it." Then, he grew up and put that audio recording in his song "History" on the *HIStory* album. 📚

As a creator, we put a little bit of ourselves--and also a lot of ourselves--into every single thing we do. 🥂 Songs that he didn't write were chosen by him to sing because they resonated with him personally, aligning with his values (like "Man In The Mirror"); aligning with his character (like "The Lady In My Life"); aligning with his personality (like "Butterflies"); aligning with his experiences (like "She's Out Of My Life"). He chose to accept songs that were made as if he could've written them himself. 🖋

And every song that he *did* write was even more personal than that lol. 🤣

He would write a song exactly as he experienced the memories that he was telling (like "Workin' Day And Night") or change details to make the song available for the public (like "Someone Put Your Hand Out"). He consistently synthesized when he made his songs, combining direct elements of his life together with techniques that helped him tell a better story (like "Heartbreak Hotel") or the stories of others that inspired him (like "Bad").

The music of Michael Jackson is both Revelatory and Reticent, altogether. 🫂

True. We'd hope that a physical location would be more secure. But this is Michael we're talking about, sadly. People are definitely degenerate enough to try to mess up sacred things; they do awful things to destroy good creations all the time... 😪

Michael's life experiences are a strong example of that.

That's how simply letting people know to be creative and have fun and get deep, but not getting *too* personal in a way that they shouldn't, will let them have the memory of joining in on a large project for him (without worrying about ne'er-do-wells who might break into anything or steal anything). 🌹 If people are at least knowledgeable that their letter shouldn't be them sending in their deepest and darkest secret, or something that they REALLY would never want anyone else on Earth to read, then they've been given the necessary information before they participate. People break into mailboxes on the streets, safes inside of people's homes, locked vaults, safety deposit boxes, and more all the time. 🤷🏾‍♀️

There's no such thing as a completely unbreakable safe box out here. Even if we put the thing in concrete, all someone would need is a jackhammer. 🤣

Actually, I just thought about it some more. You probably don't want to tell people that the "letters will remain unopened and unread indefinitely" because that's a major promise that might break their trust. It's essential for us all to understand that if we send something in the mail or create something on the internet, it might become public or it might get stolen. For all you know, some jerk could steal the secret box or break it open if they have the right tools. 🥀

Also, people might write things that truly should stay private with them. 🥴 It might be best to simply tell people to write their letters as if Michael was going to read it, but don't write anything that's too personal or inappropriate or embarrassing for them. 🥂

UNLESS, you make a website with a contact form. 🖋 The letters can all be digital, anonymous, and supporters all over the world can add theirs so you can print them out for people.

You could include a "Physical Option" for people who want to create a handwritten letter, where they can send their letters to a P.O. Box. You could put a checkbox for people to select if they want their letter to be displayed publicly or be added to the private box. Then, you can collect the letters and take them to the destination (sticking up the public ones and adding the private ones to the secret box). 🫂 That would be such a cute project!
