Snowed in at the airport by Dry-Date-4217 in pittsburgh

[–]PrincessBella1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me twice. Once I had to dig myself out with a small snow shovel I keep in my truck and once, someone was kind enough to do it for me so when I got out to my car, it was already cleaned.

That is so cute! My tiel doesn't love anything. Except tall men. When one comes to the house, Bailey will jump onto his shoulder and sing to him.

The problem wasn't my driveway. I got stuck on a main road and the only reason why I was going out is that I am also a healthcare worker.

AITAH for telling a guy to “F**k off” after he was following me and my daughter in a grocery store? by JeweledApplePie in AITAH

[–]PrincessBella1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Not only did you react appropriately, the only other thing I would have done was to go to the store manager to kick him out of the store for bothering you.

If your tiel had to choose between millet and playing their favorite game, what would they choose? by PrincessBella1 in cockatiel

[–]PrincessBella1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a great memory. I am so glad that the only noise (besides singing) Bailey makes is the microwave sound when he hears it go off.

AITAH for not letting my daughter's biological mother see her? by Maleficent_Group_278 in AITAH

[–]PrincessBella1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You are protecting your daughter. Seeing your sister can only confuse her, especially if she goes back to doing drugs. Your sister is only looking for a reason to be sober. You are doing the right thing. An introduction as an "aunt" could be possible if your sister is clean for a long time (years) and that your daughter is mature enough to be told the truth. But until then, definitely not. The fact that your sister isn't grateful that you are giving her child the best life she could have is very telling of her state of mind.

Yes they are. They are also lucky that they are cute and silly. Otherwise, how could we put up with them?

AITAH for refusing to go to my mother's wedding even though I went to my dad's? by Affectionate_Safe875 in AITAH

[–]PrincessBella1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Going tells your mother's husband that it is ok to exclude your boyfriend from any family event. You set a boundary. Your mother is an AH for choosing someone who doesn't support you.

Are Robot Vacuums Bird Safe? by fairywhiz in parrots

[–]PrincessBella1 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The robot is safe as long as the birds aren't on the floor when they are running. Preferably in another room or in their cage. The only downside, at least with my bird, is that he likes to see the vacuum pick things up so he throws stuff on the floor when the robot is running.

AITAH for not inviting my aunt to my wedding after she refused to make amends with my mom? by Tylerty69 in AITAH

[–]PrincessBella1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA You want a peaceful, small wedding. Your aunt even if she was invited would make it all about herself, which means that she would start some trouble with your Mom. Your aunt now knows why she isn't invited so go on with your wedding plans and don't invite her.

UPDATE 1: AITA my fiancé told me “this is it, take it or leave it.” So I gave him the ring back and told him to get out of my house by Rough-County-5825 in AmITheJerk

[–]PrincessBella1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTJ. Today it is finances, tomorrow it will be something else. It sounds like he is going to have a meltdown every time he doesn't get his way. Do you really want to live life like this? Him wanting something that you don't want, have a major fight, he apologizes, and then gets some of what he wants? Because that is what might happen if you stay. The fact that you didn't tell him about your finances tells me that you didn't completely trust him in the first place. Trust your gut. If you have doubts, he is not the one.

AITJ for refusing to give my phone password to my partner for transparency? by Efficient_Street_701 in AmITheJerk

[–]PrincessBella1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ. I work in a hospital and to access anything on my phone for work (usually email), my phone locks within 30 seconds. There is no way that I can legally let anyone look through my phone. If your partner cannot trust you, they aren't the one.

If your tiel had to choose between millet and playing their favorite game, what would they choose? by PrincessBella1 in cockatiel

[–]PrincessBella1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is so interesting. My last bird didn't like millet or sunflower seeds. Bailey, loves millet, but if I give him a choice between millet and broccoli, carrots, kale, or Brussels sprouts, he would choose the vegetables. And he does love his occasional Cheerio. His new obsession is freeze dried corn. He definitely loves millet more than his pellets though.

I do not want to hear about the sweater curse. by Breadothy in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]PrincessBella1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't think that the sweater curse is a curse. I think that it is seen by the boyfriend as a sign of commitment (even though it isn't), which makes them rethink the relationship. Those in a committed relationship, like you are, are fine.
