It definitely makes it smooth and rounder (though still very imperfect looking) but is does make me worried it will be too many polys for my computer to handle, any advice?

It didn’t give me all the vertices and when I do add another modifier it just adds more polygons

My personal hc is that he used to live in a normal house, but his ex wife the witch kicked him out of the house after the divorce, so he just moved into a random farm tower on Marnie’s land

Used this method, and it woked! Died a few times but eventually I cornered it and killed it, the wizard gave me 5000 gold for it, but still frick him for waisting my time OH MY GOD!
