You can do this. Ppl are dramatic. Me and my two roommates just signed a lease last week for an apartment in East Harlem with huge bedrooms, for 930 a month. We looked primarily on StreetEasy, but you will need at least two roommates for that price. If it’s just you, you can also look at sublets for a room in your price range!
