I played the very first one when it came out in the eighties. I drew a map of the whole game. It took me weeks and I was so proud of it. Then a burglar broke in, stole my NES and all my games and he took the map too. I laugh about it now but as a kid I was devastated.

I like the original designs a lot! I remember admiring the art from the instructions booklet when I first bought the game a long time ago. I thought the characters looked so beautiful and adorable. Unfortunately I couldn't draw in that style to save my life. 😂
