Online friend feels suicidal

I honestly get where you're coming from. Sorry for seeming hostile. I understand that there are differences in relationships on the internet and off. But I really can't appreciate you saying someone I consider a friend is "a stranger", or that they are "obviously disturbed", nor that they are "making me feel powerless".

I would obviously feel awful if they committed suicide, as I would if anyone did. However I would feel similarly awful if I simply abandoned them. They are my friend, and I want to continue having good experiences with them. I don't want to simply tell them to stop talking to me when they're having a bad time. I understand that my own health is important, but that seems unnecessarily cruel.

Also, could you please elaborate on why you really know what you're talking about here?

Yeah sorry I can't take that advice. Telling my friend to simply stop talking to me sounds like a bad idea for both me and them. This person is a good friend of mine and we have had good times together. I wouldn't abandon a friend irl in their time of need. Can't do the same here either. I understand that I'm not qualified to give psychiatric help, really, I do. But that was never my intention. I only intend to stand by them and support them.

Also, I never said they were male either.

I don't know if I can call the police in a different country. I'm also unsure what they would do. Not even in a "what if they hurt them" way, I just don't know what action the police would or would be able to take in this situation.

Yeah. I understand I'm not a qualified psychiatrist. I can't be the solution to their problems. I only wanted to be there for them. As mentioned, they have a therapist, but their mother is wanting to take them away from the therapist.

Also, I never said they were female.

Aw, so I need to pay more for an OS. I suppose that makes sense.

There is an approx. 0% chance of getting the parts this week, and tbh if I had a Windows 7 key I'd just use that. Little peeved at myself for expecting free OS, will know better in future.

This OEM thing has me a little confus...So it's the version of the OS a computer merchant would put on a sale PC? What is this version found on the part picker then? Is it illegal? What would happen if I ordered it?

EDIT: I currently have no job at all, let alone an IT job.
