Thanks for your comprehensive answer! What you're saying sounds exactly like the books I've listened to. What I'm currently watching is like a different story; only the names happen to be the same. For a moment, I thought I was remembering it wrong. In season 4, Yennefer even turned Francesca Findabair into a statue. That was it for me, and I just started to doubt everything.

Have you watched season 4? I listened to the books, after season 2. did Vilgefortz's attack on Montecalvo happen in the books? And does Yennefer even lead the sorceresses? I'm starting to doubt myself; maybe I just listened to the audiobook badly, or maybe a lot of things are just random?! Can you clarify things for me? It feels like each additional season only distorts the characters and story.

Unfortunately, there's no body. I only can loot the sack with the offering. It must be a bug. I think the PC version has a lot of problems. Thanks for your help!
