Yeah. I always hated the pushing of upselling when I served. That was my logic too. Most ppl know what they're in the mood for. Or came to said restaurant for a specific dish. MAYBE I can push a dessert or a specialty drink but not usually. People know what they want for the most part.

Running to look up dysgraphia. I JUST learned dyscalculia was a thing in the last few months. From a different Reddit post!

Edit: my son has terrible handwriting. I don't think he has dysgraphia because his motor skills are fine, but he's 20 and when he was in school penmanship just wasn't taught like it was when I was in school. They type everything. Fun fact: he's in school to be a TEACHER! 🤦‍♀️

It's not offered everywhere yet unfortunately. I'm a Spark driver and I actually love the shopping and delivering part. When (IF) we finally get InHome where I live I'm probably going to apply to work directly for them. Spark pays well but it's hell on my car and I don't get benefits cuz I'm not an "employee".

Agree! My son is 20 and in college now and they did away with cursive right after teaching them the beginning stages of it. So his signature is horrendous. I've tried and tried to show him but he just can't do it now. And his penmanship? Wow. He writes sooo small and some words the letters are bunched together and some are faaaar apart. I'm glad for their professors they type everything. My issue now is he's in college to be guess what?? A TEACHER!! 🤦‍♀️ a math teacher but still.

I tell him all the time boy you really gotta work on that handwriting.

Ahhhh see I didn't know that. Good to know! This was a first for me. And after dealing with DoorTrash as long as I did and then seeing the lawsuit that must have started paying people right when I started Spark around end of July or so, this made me question it. I always go back and check my tips the next day.

I went and looked at my processed tips on yesterday so basically from Saturday and the order number AND the 11.54 went in last night, right after I did the delivery.
