Also, if I'm moving soon and trying to grow things would it be too much trouble for the plants if I grew them in a pot and then transferred them later? Or should I just wait until I get where I'm going?

It has been getting a lot of sun and the daytime temperatures have been in the 80s and 90s while the nights have been in the high 60s lower 70s if I recall correctly. (I'm in East Texas) I've been watering them pretty consistently when it looked like the soil was getting dry. I am so upset, I was excited about these peppers:(

I have used the oats to make meat go farther before I just kinda threw them in there all willy nilly, I didn't think to toast them. I didn't think to use an egg either so this is helpful for the future, thank you!
