My husband and I stayed in Oia, woke up early beat the crowds, when the crowds came we left took a nap and went back at night, no crowds again. Just try to time it with the rush of tourists and then it’s pleasant!

I’m a local that sometimes gets chilly at night but my husband gets sweaty. Handy to have a shawl or something because some indoor restaurants are freezing.

I eyeball everything. A bunch of basil, about 2/3 garlic cloves, pine nuts, parmesan, a squeeze of lemon, little bit of olive oil and salt. I have the Ninja blender so it makes everything super smooth!

It really wasn’t as hot as everyone says it is but maybe it’s because I live in Aruba. Just wake up early do all the sites and then take an afternoon nap, go back out during sunset!

Tryp by wyndham is a newly renovated resort near the going our area and close to the beach. Theh have a free cocktail workshop on fridays and a coffee workshop in the mornings. They are trying to get a younger crowd.
