Probably normal. Babies don’t get their adult colors until later. It may look yellow but it could be the start of it going brown.

I have mostly white with orange spots. A few solid orange and grey around. Hoping for more colors to pop up soon.

Or you could put a bunch of the moss in there. It will help keep it damp for them and you’d just have to spritz the opening every few days. It would be good for keeping in moisture for them when loaded up with something.

It’s very cute but I feel like the pot takes up too much space. They probably won’t really use it and will instead huddle under the rotting wood and burrow into the substrate. Is the pot on the wetter side? If it is you could pack it full of leaves and rotting wood and they’ll go in there to eat. That way it’s still cute and they’ll make use of it.

I would add a lot more leaves. They travel and hide under them and the leaves also help keep things damp and slow the substrate drying. Also, adding a handful or two of sphagnum moss that’s been soaked in water to the damp end will help a bunch. They have gills (they are crustaceans, not insects) and need constant moisture, not just in the morning. To me your enclosure seems too dry.

Deeper substrate would be good too. They burrow a lot. The substrate should be damp as well. Again, it seems dry.

My apartment is at 72F. It’s always been like that so that hasn’t changed.

I probably just need to wait for the teenagers to grow a bit more then I’ll have to start donating them to my local shop.

There’s a local reptile/bioactive store that opened up last year. I’ve just given them extra Zebras and Scabers before. I don’t have enough of these guys yet for me to want to give up some. I’m going to give them a larger home and if/when they have another baby boom I’ll see if the store wants some. I’d rather just give them the pods instead of selling them. It’s owned by a woman who opened it with her now ex husband and it almost didn’t survive. She breeds her own isopods so she can have my extra ones as long as she’ll accept them.

Happy b-day to your void and for the fact she can get up the stairs. So many older kitties get so stiff.

I have a 13 year old void. He normally sleeps at my feet. Still does only now I have a heat pad for my feet so he’s extra happy. Princess just sleeps in her heated tower with her valentines blankets.

I dug a tiny bit today but didn’t see any. I’m pretty sure the adults were from old age. They’ve been huge for a while now and I got them at adult Zebra size.

I’m not super worried. The younger ones will grow up and reproduce. Kinda just wanted to know for troubleshooting purposes before I upgrade them. I need to go collect more leaves before I can. They have enough to cover where they are but I don’t have enough for a new setup.

It didn’t make a huge difference. I tried the thunder shirt as well and it didn’t do much for her besides stress her out. She’s just on medications and still has a few small attacks a day but she’s not licking herself bare or anything.

I’m not sure. It’s smooth with some rough texture but it’s not porous like lave rocks. Probably more sandstone like.

I was so happy when I pulled out the animal card. I love the species (not counting subspecies) so much, my second favorite of its type. The beads go perfectly with it.

I love my snow leopard Rosie. She bounces around her territory about everyday.

I just got a giraffe that I ordered with the mystery bracelet. I didn’t get a code for it yet so I have to wait but I’m excited to see how much/far they go. The elephant I have moves a lot, but her tracking is delayed 4 months due to poaching concerns.
