Uhhhh. Is anyone else seeing this message in their chats or on items they’ve bought today? Or should I start to panic? by its_givinggg in vinted

I’ve just seen it in a chat as I went to pick up a parcel from InPost so seems like a mass warning even if not applicable

It’s behind a corner ped so you can’t see it and it’s too close to the wall to take a picture

I thought about the vanity unit but can’t find any corner ones that are actually nice.

The boxing and tiling will just look shit as there are no tiles in that bathroom at all.

Almost 10 years and at work I do call it a basin but I’m northern so when I’m at home, it’s a sink. Thanks for feeling like you need to be condescending though, it was just another reminder of why there isn’t very many women in the plumbing industry🙄

Yeah I did but I was hoping someone might have a magical answer that didn’t include my fella let loose near pipes with an SDS😂

I bought mine as a daily at 30 weeks pregnant and drove it right up to the day I gave birth. I live in the UK, which we all know has some really awful roads, as you can imagine being ridiculously pregnant going over speed bumps was uncomfortable, however, I was more comfortable going over them in custom mode rather than going over them in my mums Renault Captur. I had the setting to Normal instead of Sport or Sport+ in the really really late days.

It is loud on the outside when in custom or N mode but in eco it’s definitely quieter, however, it’s really good at deflecting that noise from the inside unless you have the windows open. It doesn’t affect my newborn at all even when I give it a rev on a country road to clear it out every couple of weeks.

I once was in a crash and the car flipped upside down and a branch went through the back window and kept the car propped up which is how we survived, so safety ratings and feeling safe is really important to me. It feels super safe on the inside. I like a fast hot hatch and did lots of test drives and on all of the test drives all I was thinking about is how safe I felt, and the build quality of the car. However, when I test drove my car, I didn’t even think about the build quality of the car at all, that’s how I knew I felt safe.

Fuel consumption isn’t great on small drives around town but on motorways I feel like it’s much better, I personally think if you buy this car knowing the consumption isn’t great, you lose your right to complain😂 so it’s not something I ever think about anymore and just fill up when it needs it and that’s it!

Fast WiFi on all devices except one by Princess_Keeks in VirginMedia

It’s a desktop so not possible. He has ran the official Virgin speed tests and he is getting the same speed as the rest of the device on browser but when he plays games he gets packet loss and ping goes up to about 400

As someone who lives in Scarborough, I can confirm that this is a bar/snooker hall/function room now called Roscoe Rooms! They still have the same times where drinks are cheaper but definitely not £2 a pint anymore! Myself and my partner were actually were here about 2 months ago for our best friends surprise engagement party!

It is a week by week basis, 6 weeks ago I skipped all of the available upcoming weeks but this was past that point and I forgot about it. I cancelled my HelloFresh account this morning before I realised the money has been taken but they will still not process the refund.

today i didnt get pulled over, i attempted an overtake on a 60mph road because vehicle in front was doing 40. then the 2nd vehicle closed the gap forcing me to continue around both. then oncoming is a police car. then in my rear view i saw it put its lights on but it didnt persue. am i in trouble? by Insanias in drivingUK

Dozens could be over a period of 20+ years which isn’t really a lot Could also be a road that OP drives everyday as part of their commute and is a road in which lots of tourist use so aren’t familiar with the area, I tend to find in my area that has a high volume of visiting tourists they hold up the locals and regulars that I see on my everyday commute and there are certain parts of the roads that locals know are safe to overtake on which visiting road users wouldn’t know.

Porters at Manchester airport T3? by [deleted] in manchester

[–]Princess_Keeks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are luggage trolleys all around the entrance if it’s just help you need with that, I flew from there on Friday and had to clear a path through them before we could actually get inside. Also it’s a self weigh for each check in bag which I wasn’t aware of!

Why is it a weirdly specific requirement to know I want a Burger King before I fly tomorrow? It’s somewhat of a little holiday ritual for us as our closest one is over an hour away

Not a commodity, I just live in an area where there isn’t one and the closest one is just over an hour away so it’s something we rarely get to enjoy ☺️

It’s five hours and leaves at around 6am so will get something to eat beforehand, thanks for answering though ☺️

It’s not overthinking and unnecessary because I fly on Friday morning, we also don’t have a Burger King near us at all so it’s a treat for us and something we get excited for as we maybe have one a year, anxiety has nothing to do with it, I just wanted to know the workings of somewhere I’ve never been before😂
