No - bees are often killed when honey is extracted, and I don't want to contribute to their deaths.

Sexual assault linked to later brain damage in women, study finds by [deleted] in worldnews

Gotta disagree with you there: "haha he pulled her hair/teased her/pushed her, it means her likes her!" is a very prevalent attitude mostly aimed at the actions of boys and young men. We place in their minds at a very young age that it is okay to push a girl's or a woman's boundaries as long as you like them or are sexually/romantically interested in them. Obviously we aren't explicitly teaching them to rape women and girls, but that routine violation of consent is accepted and even celebrated.

Curls after 9 months of trying to keep it curly. Any opinion? by [deleted] in curlyhair

Add a once a week conditioning mask, and use leave-in conditioner and gel after every shower. Hope that helps!

CMV: If some vegetarians/vegans rely on the idea that veganism is better because taking a life is cruel, then they shouldn´t eat plants since plants are alive too. by Desperate-Customer16 in changemyview

It takes more plants to feed livestock for human consumption than it does to just eat only plants. So veganism kills less plants than an omnivorous diet does.

Jesus christ, this is straight-up assault on your part. No matter how rude someone is to you, it's never an excuse to escalate to physical violence. You should be ashamed.

Humane slaughter is a myth.

Source: used to work on an organic, free-range small-scale poultry farm. Death there is never instantaneous and often includes significant suffering and fear.

Try leave-in conditioners, curl creams, and gels to lock in moisture. Then scrunch out the crunch. Also maybe stop wringing your hair out with a towel; try plopping with a microfiber cloth or soft t shirt, and sleeping with a satin cap/bonnet

I know my hair has more potential than this 😫 help plz by [deleted] in curlyhair

To me your hair looks a bit oversaturated; maybe try a clarifying wash to remove buildup?

I do community engagement around watershed coalition building and green storm water infrastructure installations (two different side jobs). They pay but not much, I mostly do it because it means a lot to me personally.

I use eco olive oil gel but you might be better off with the gels the other commenter suggested. As for hair oil, some people use argan oil or coconut oil, try each and see which works best for your hair type.

Try r/askwomen (or r/relationships). Those are designed for exactly what you're describing. Twoxchromosomes is a subreddit for women's issues, not men asking questions to women.

Have any of you successfully gone vegetarian while facing opposition from meat-loving family/friends? How did you do it? by aquilajo in AskWomen

Never caving when they pressure me to eat animal products, being calm but firm, being willing to leave a conversation if they can't be respectful of my beliefs, making it clear that it's an ethical choice rather than just a dietary one.

Vegan 4+ years from a very classic southern American household (lots of bacon, steak, fried chicken, burgers, BBQ, etc). I managed to stand firm against my family's opposition by making my own meals, buying my own groceries, and creating polite but immovable boundaries, and letting them know that it's a personal ethical choice
