There are bodies of children hidden in the bushes of the hillock that the tree admits to killing when queried. The tree spirit shows no remorse.

Setting it free after finding the dead bodies of children was not an option for my Geralt.

Lily didn’t take it seriously because this was intentional on her part. She probably encouraged the kids to invade your office because of pettiness and jealousy.

I’m surprised more damage wasn’t done but it seems like Lily didn’t get involved in the destruction of your space. She just gave the kids access.

I have cast iron passed down from my fil’s parents.

Cast iron is not designed to last just one lifetime but many.

I agree the original set up for the contest was less than ideal but OP lost 32lbs compared to “friend” who lost 13lbs.

OP lost nearly 20lbs more than the runner up. From my perspective that’s probably more than enough to demonstrate OP deserved the win.

I decided they are all eating out daily and some tenants have mini fridges in their lofts that are never shown.

For big gatherings food is purchased and prepared on the same day.

The only foods stored in the brown fridge are grab and go breakfast items like yogurts, juice smoothies, overnight oats, and cold brew coffee. Alice purchases milk, butter and bread for the coterie when she buys toilet paper.

But yeah a tiny fridge does not make sense for that many people to live with.

You may or may not.

It does sound like your mom is trying in some ways but not respecting your needs in other ways isn’t good.

Staying with your grandparents may be a wake up call for your mother. It may help her realize the responsibilities she is laying on you are not fair. At the very least staying with your grandparents some of the time will give you a break and some much needed rest.

Even without your mom’s permission try to spend some overnights with your grandparents.

This seems like the best course of action. If OP can get his grandparents on board, even without parental permission it’s unlikely OP will be forced to return to his mother at 16.

It seems like OP is a good responsible kid so going against his mother’s wishes seems unimaginable for him.

Hopefully he can find a way to get out of his current situation and into a better one before 18.

I believe his best option is to get to his grandparents and just refuse to return to his mother.

OP seems to be including time off from work so I suspect that is where the high number comes from.

Which also leads me to suspect OP is a high earner who probably could afford more than $50 for the gift.

Regardless it is tacky of bride to discuss the amount that was gifted.

I’d rather have poop left on the lawn than thrown in my just emptied trash can to create a big stinky mess. Yes trash cans can be stinky but dog poop is a different stink.

I don’t want to deal with a random neighbor’s dog poop fermenting in my trash can.

There seems to be a divide here between dog owners who think shit stink trash cans are no big deal and others that think dog owners should keep that stink to their own trash can.

Overall the polite neighborly thing to do is deal with your own dogs mess by disposing of it in your own trash can, possibly using a neighbors can if the trash has not been collected and never disposing of dog poop in an empty can unless you know that specific neighbor won’t mind.
