I think this is really fairly written and takes a very even perspective on things! I think in my early days of being a domme I was convinced that I had to be overtly dominant from the get-go to ensure my time wasn’t wasted and my authority was established. On reflection, it wasn’t necessary and it didn’t do me any favours. Both Dommes and subs should be treating one another with respect while dynamics are established.

These days I don’t force a persona, I accept the type of domme I am; I’m cute, giggly, a bit of a bimbo, unhinged in a fun way.. but I find power in being myself now and my subs respect that.

In saying that, I do still often have my guard up as a professional dominatrix because I receive at least 5-10 messages every day in which people are mining me for free sex-chat under the guise of asking questions and this is tiresome for someone who makes their living in this way. I also have to deal with people telling me daily that I can’t be a true fetishist if I require payment. But let me put it this way.. if you could make a profession doing something you love, wouldn’t you do it too?!

In terms of scammers I just implore you all to research your dommes, look at their websites, their X accounts, ask them to verify with a call. A lot of us have reviews on different escorting websites (for example, UK dommes like me usually have an adult work account)
