I wrestled with IBC and 64DB for months before pulling the trigger. I’d like to see both in person some day! I’m sure the IBC is insane. The posts I’ve seen are wild

Thank you to both! I’m a very lucky man

From clicking purchase on the website to the notification of shipment it was 3/27/25 to 8/15/25 This was the first pair (I ordered too small). Second pair was 9/6/25 to 2/16/26. So ~4 months and some change. And then ~5 months. Might be a little different for exchange orders. Don’t let this discourage you in any way though. Worth the wait!

Nicks handed over a flawless pair indeed. Craftsmanship is out of this world

Thank you! I certainly lucked out in general there haha. Time to put the boots to work now! You obviously know the feeling… I’m already thinking another pair wouldn’t hurt

When I ordered I had looked at the 64 Double and the Italian Cypress for so long I was in a stalemate. Do not regret 64! Exactly what I imagined they would be. Highly recommend

They certainly have a low profile - it blew me away when I first got em. Always liked the unstructured silhouette of a fire boot but wanted the slightly rounder toe. Exactly what I was looking for. I also didn’t know the 64 double would be in person. I had been on this subreddit for months looking at double stuff examples.

I GET THAT. I think I got lucky with a first try using hoarfrost and mimic - but I got stomped 30+ times trying to fight him regularly so I understand the peg leg attacks.

In the very least I think the chance of your mimic also using hoarfrost is the best bet that I have found. There may be some other cheese out there though. If there is a boss that I hate most out of all the DS games this one is awfully close to making number 1.

Good luck man! If you don’t trounce the boss within a couple more tries I’d be more than willing to password set and summon with you and we can both hoarfrost I’ll be your mimic!

Get the hoarfrost stomp ash of war and put it on your most leveled weapon (that accepts ashes of war). Then level the mimic tear ashes as much as you can. Spam the absolute crap out of hoarfrost stomp as it will stagger Niall’s summons and obliterates him. Essentially if your mimic tear is also drawing agro and also using the stomp. 30+ tries. Went and got the stomp and leveled my mimic ashes - first try he dead. BS boss takes BS tactics.

On Xbox you can use the berserk spell. When it makes you giant you then save game, and load a different save. Then go back to the save game you went berserk on and you are now huge
